Due to the Covid19 pandemic, a lot of people are using things like instacart and Uber eats to get food and groceries.

Right now, some of these people are enticing delivery workers to pick up their food/items with high tips and once the delivery has been made, changing the tip amount be be less and sometimes even zero.

If you are one of those people doing this, truly, from the bottom of my heart, I want you to know that you are a piece of shit and you should go fuck yourself UwU

A really frustrating thing right now (among millions of things) is academia's complete neglect of grad students. I understand why the immediate response was focused on undergrads, and a lot still needs to be done to take care of them, but as far as I've seen, grad students are being utterly neglected. Since my university began responding to corona virus, I've had to move two classes online, learn to tutor using the online platform, and begin taking three classes online. Undergrads are feeling overwhelmed and adrift with online classes. Faculty are feeling stressed moving their courses online. Everyone is scared and frustrated over the state of the world. But grad students fill this weird liminal space of student and staff so we are experiencing all of these miserable aspects at once, and nobody is acknowledging this. This post has no real point except to voice my frustrations and despair and say to other grad students that I see you and I hope we are better taken care of soon.
