I hope all of the people who are out there protesting know that Hermes is with them. He is doing what he can to protect you, and he stands with you.
I hope all of you are safe. I may not be able to be out there physically, but I stand with you, and so does the god that I serve.
Be Well
This is a sigil for the protection of the protesters. Please, if you can, use this or one of your own creation to help the people who are going out and fighting injustice.
I'm not black, but I see you.

I'm a white member of the LGBT community, and I want to stand in solidarity. I have the rights that I have in large part due to the Stonewall Riots, and I will never forget that.

Complications of the stress put on his throat by the hold caused his death; Openly said “I can’t breathe” several times and pretty much died while three other cops watched their compatriot kill a man. Eric was well known for just trying to sell goods as a side hustle and never actually hurt anybody.
DJ HENRY was fatally shot in his car by police officer Aaron Hess in the early morning hours of Oct. 17, 2010. Hess later admitted to lying on multiple occasions after DJ’s death about the shooting.
These were all murders. They were not accidental. All of these innocent people: men, women AND children. Were murdered because they were black. Not because they were violent. Not because they were threatening, but because they were black. Something has to change. We have to MAKE a change. Black lives matter. Black men. Black women. Black children. Non-Binary blacks. Trans blacks. Every single one of their lives matter. Your friends. Your neighbors. Your teachers. Your brothers. Your sisters. We are the change.

this list isn’t even close to a being a quarter of the wrongful African American deaths in America and if there is anyone you’d like me to add please message me. I will gladly add them because people deserve to know their names.
I have some things to say. They don't really relate to the topic of my blog, but I don't care. I feel that this needs to be said.
Now is not a time to stand back and say “Someone else will take care of it” or “It's none of my business, it doesn't affect me.”Â
People are dying.
People are being murdered by the very people who are supposed to protect them.
Right now is not the time to let other people take up the fight. Right now is not the time to stay out of things that “aren't your business.” Right now is not the time to be complacent in the face of injustice.Â
All throughout history, people have had to fight tooth and nail, push back against insurmountable odds, and face the possibility of death in order to gain even a little ground in the fight for human rights. If you want examples, just look to the historic fight for women's rights. Look at the fight for LGBT rights. Look at the fight to end slavery. Look at the fight to end segregation.Â
It shouldn't matter if you're white, you should be doing anything you can to help end the injustice in this world right now. It shouldn't matter if the police have never done anything like that to people that you know. It shouldn't matter if you have never seen police brutality in person. What matters is the fact that people are being killed.Â
You should not have to be black or have personal experience with police brutality in order to care about people being killed.
If you really need a reason to care about people being murdered, then what does that say about you?
the moment i realized AP tests were a scam was when i learned the AP literature test would have a multiple choice section
for those who aren’t privy to the implications of this....the entire purpose of AP literature is to thematically analyze novels, poetry, and passages of prose. this requires thinking up a thesis (ex: hamlet is about how grief destroys relationships) and backing it up with evidence (ex: hamlet’s relationship with ophelia ends because of how hamlet acts after his dad died). if this sounds super subjective it’s because it is. ten people could read the same stanza of poetry and come up with ten separate interpretions of it. you can’t test this skill using single answer questions students can’t defend themselves on. that’s against the nature of the subject.
Yeah, during practices in class, I would always ace the essay portions because I'm really good at that kind of thing, but I would do pretty bad on the multiple choice because I don't always think the same way College Board does. Thankfully, because of quarantine, the test this year was only the essay.
The truth is, like with most of high school, AP isn't trying to teach you to come up with your own ideas, they're trying to get you to think the way they want you to.
So, I had an idea.
I wanted to find some way to incorporate my love of literature into my craft.
I also wanted to make my own oracle deck.
Then it hit me: I can make an oracle deck with quotes from books!
I realized that, since I have a hard time interpreting visuals, but I'm good at interpreting words, having an oracle deck that uses literary quotes would be great for me. So I went on the internet and looked up some quotes. I found 30 of them that felt like they had some really solid advice that could be open to interpretation, wrote the quotes down on some cards, and then decorated the backs.
While I still love my tarot deck, I feel like I much prefer this new deck, as it requires much less memorization to use, and it incorporates something that I really love.
(also, it doesn't really look all that witchy, so they're much less suspicious than tarot cards are)
How do I make my own tarot deck?
I’m in the broom closet and have been learning how to read tarot cards, but I can’t just go out and buy a deck. I’ve seen people make their own, and I was wondering if there was a certain way that it should be done.
I have since finished my deck. It kinda sucks but I have a few cards in it that I am really proud of.

Fuck society, the woods don't misgender me. I'm going to go live with the shadows and become their sibling, no gender, no nothing, only fresh soil and clear moons.
I love having school canceled because of coronavirus :))))))))
I'm totally not upset that my psychology class is getting completely fucked over because we had an entire unit to study before we have to take the IB test and my dumbass school was too cheap to buy us textbooks. Nope. Not me. Not at all.
Like, seriously though. My math class had finished all of the necessary topics already, so we're ready for both the AP and IB tests. It would have been nice to have the reviews with the teacher, but at least we have the information to review on our own. And in Biology, we have a good textbook that, in fact, is better at teaching than the teacher anyway. Literally none of my classes are getting fucked over as hard as my psychology class currently is, and I am royally pissed about it.
Chaotic Academia, for when you want to be an academic, but you're also an absolute gremlin who never wears anything but flannel shirts, t-shirts, skinny jeans, and converse.
I just want to find random topics of study that seem interesting and then become completely absorbed in it for about a week and then never look at it again. I want to use slang while talking about academic topics. I want to have a workspace that is so disorganized that there is not a single surface that is not covered with paper. I want to drink ungodly amounts of coffee and stay up doing pointless research until 3 a.m. I want to study literature while also reading an inordinate amount of Young Adult novels. I want to yell at my friends about why philosophy is an absolutely idiotic area of study but also make references to the most ridiculous of memes and inside jokes. I want to have my bag filled with lose papers and never write a single thing down in the five planners that I've bought. I want to as little effort forth as possible in a class to get an A because I really care about academics, but I can't bring myself to study in a class that I don't care about. I want to be able to connect on a level that is more than intellectual with my peers.Â
And I just feel as if the Chaotic Academia aesthetic allows for more diversity and individuality than Dark Academia does. If you want to wear nothing but tweed and Oxfords, go for it, but I don't think that you should change who you are or separate yourself from other people solely for the sake of an aesthetic that is completely made up any way.
