becoming a pietro fan is so funny. i remember reading son of m as an introduction to his character and being absolutely mortified at his actions and personality, defending him to anyone that talked about it and feeling confused about how to feel about his crimes. now he entertains me. pietro could blow up a country today and i'd be amused and supportive. sure, he fucked up, you can hate him all you want, but while you do that im ordering 15 more nuclear bombs for him

I have so many feelings over the stuff. Such as whenever I see artist re-drawing the moment when Wanda Maximoff says “No More Mutants” at the end of House of M and she is standing I want to throw bricks at my wall. It really shouldn’t bother me that much, but it does.

When HoM is ending Wanda has Pietro in her lap and crying. She is broken and upset. She has lost the last pieces of her mind and trying to rebuild a world that she thinks that will make the world better for the third time (because I’m gonna count when she was an Avenger and fighting to change the world. That was as an attempt as well as the creating the HoM universe) and dammit she changed it for her family.

For her father’s attempts to make the world how he would like it as Magneto, for her brother who just wanted to be with his sister, for Lorna (who she doesn’t really interact with and that annoys me to no end), for her children that she desperately wanted to have, for The Vision who she murdered, but remembered. Wanda changed it for her family and herself and it just means a lot to me when I go back and read HoM and Wanda is on the ground, holding Pietro and it just upsets me that when artists have her standing with no Pietro in sight.

Wanda made decisions with her brother, or at least with him in mind, because it was them against the world. Even though now she wants to go out and figure out who she is and spend time with her kids that scene was all about family for me and the connection between them. It just bothers me when he isn’t there at all. Sorry I just had to get this off my chest. I just have a weird set of feelings.

#my friends all going upstairs because they all work on a different floor than me :(

getting back into crochet to try and spend less time looking at screens but i'm back on a screen to say i think pietro would enjoy crocheting and would just make blankets and scarves etc so fast and give them away to whoever would take them

#now . back to crocheting #i've been working on and off on this blanket for MONTHS and it's finally big enough to function as a blanket #but it's also not that cold yet so im just sitting here sweating #pietro maximoff
