this is immensely funny to me
for some reason i remembered Princess Jellyfish being a lot more eggy than the show actually was. like i completely projected my own egg-related feelings onto Kuranosuke the first time i watched the show before even knowing what egg meant. i kept waiting for him (her?) to realize it and got to the last episode like oh... they never do, I totally misremembered the show lol it absolutely needed a second season
i think it's kinda interesting how the first time i watched the show, how completely hooked i was just by seeing myself in Kuranosuke and how after hatching i had a more mellow experience watching the show but was able to kind of empathize with everyone more on a deeper level. not that i didn't have empathy before, just it was a bit more than previously. like the first time hit me hard and i couldn't stop watching it, which is rare for my ADHD ass that couldn't see themself in hardly anything growing up. but this time it wasn't as intense, but somehow hit deeper. it's like i'm at a stage in my transition where i'm not completely obsessed with the slightest hint of gender nonconformity and it's all more normal to me now, just part of my everyday experience.

Night landscapes
Golden Gate Bridge from China Beach-- a spot I've been meaning to check out for a while! It was so quiet and peaceful. They are in the midst of some kind of remodel. Very unique quality of light on this clear day.

Wondering around for the perfect view, I discovered the Black Point Gardens. This vantage was a new angle on the Maritime Museum and Aquatic Park for me, and so cool to be able to include Coit Tower and the Bay Bridge.
