Update on my journey to being the strongest version of myself
Time to talk about a few things: 1) Finished my first ever marathon. Im not gonna lie, took me 6:55 minutes to finish. Lot of shit happened along the way but i completed it. I set a challenge before me and acceptd it. 2) took awhile to really post, been laying in bed. Vomited a few times since after the race. Heat exhaustion sucks. Slow oral intake. Im in need of alot of fluids, i went from 199 this morning to 189lbs. Too much haha. 3) new challenge, weight lifting to be prioritized now. I love the deadlift. My goal deadlift 230lbs by the end of the year, no belt, straps or supplements. 4) so to end this, set a goal for yourself, envision yourself achieving it and take one step forward to it. It may take a long ass time, with ups and down. Eventually you will grasp it in your hands and youll be smiling saying fuck ya! Or something haha.
Last thing: From January 2013 til April 2014: Went from 240s to 200lbs. Ups and downs but gradual weight loss. Incoporated Running, Weightlifting, some yoga and of course change in what and how much I eat. Love food. Thats not going to change haha. No diets here, just lifestyle changes.
Enjoy what you do folks, you will feel better for it. Love yourself and you will find you will be loving others as well.
Yip yip motherfuckers

-Start weight; 310
-Start fat percentage; approx. 42%
-Current weight; 210
-Current fat percentage; approx. 17.9% (+/-)
-Height; 6’ 0”
-Start pant size; 50
-Current waist size; Between 34-36
-Amount of time to lose weight; Who cares how long it has takes, you will get there just stay motivated
-My strategy; Attempting to eat right, 85% percent of my workout has been from Strength training and 15% is from running so often. With strength training its a mental challenge cause you see big changes in the size of your body but the numbers on the scale drop very slowly and at times even climb, due to muscle mass!
Don’t give up guys you can pull through it!!

Come on let’s try and get this thing to 3,000 reblogs! Help a brother out! =)
Get out and run. Do not worry about the rest. Make running a lifestyle. A daily habit, like brushing your teeth. If you run 300+ days a year, every year, for several years, good things will come your way. Start now. Doesn’t matter if you are 16 years old or 66. If you want to be a decent runner you must get out and run; the rest is just noise. Get the running in first— that is the foundation. Then: Eat mostly good stuff. Get enough sleep. Stretch if you want to— or don’t. Lift if you like lifting. Cross-train if it makes you happy. Wear minimalist shoes or big bulky ones, whichever you prefer. Listen to music when you run, or not. You can carry water with you on a long run, or you can go without. If you want to do a core routine, then do it— but first you must get out and run. Run on trails, or streets, or on a treadmill, whatever works for you. Run slowly. Run quickly. Run up hills. Run in the rain. Run in the snow, the heat, the cold. Run into the wind. Run on the days that you do not feel like running. Run on the days that you can’t wait to get out and run. Run with friends. Run alone. Run races. Run in the country. Run in the city. Run in parks. Run when you feel happy. Run when you are depressed. Run when you have a ton of energy. Run when you are feeling like shit. Run when you feel good. Run in the morning. Run at night. Run before work. Run after work. Run.
