Doctor Who: The Lost Audiobook

Nigel Robinson's audio novelization of An Unearthly Child was meant to be released in November 2013. It was narrated by William Russell and had a beautiful cover by Nick Spender.

A decade later, it has not been released.

AudioGO went into administration in October 2013 due to financial irregularities. The audiobook rights reverted back to BBC Worldwide and Random House became their new distributor. However, An Unearthly Child has not been released due to a "rights situation".

Curiously, the audiobook was part of British Airlines in-flight entertainment in November 2013. Nigel Robinson revealed he has not heard the audiobook himself!

Will we ever be able to listen to this unreleased story? According to online databases, it will be released in... 2098.
