Fi’s design fits Sky so perfectly that I had the sudden urge to draw her as a spirit

I struggled to find the right name for her, then remembered that the names usually refer to the spirit’s emote, then realised that I had no idea for an emote for her… and finally thought that her voice could be interesting as a new call, so I ended up with Fairy Whisperer!

(fairies don’t exist in sky and I could have easily replaced them by butterflies but 1) Butterfly Whisperer just,, didn’t fit her imo and 2) I imagined her being part of a seasonal event that introduces fairy-like creatures of light :] )

I’ve thought of a few other Skyward Sword characters that could fit Sky’s aesthetic too, like for a small seasonal event, so maybe I’ll dig into their designs too… one day
