The depressed teen that hates their parents has been a trope for years. Saying someone has daddy issues or that their behavior is fatherless is an insult. People call kids “ipad babies” and make fun of their short attention span.

parents are allowed to straight-up torture their kids with zero consequences. they can withhold food and water, lock you out of shelter, confiscate your belongings, bar you from human contact, attack and harm you and exert complete control over your physical appearance. and this is just the norm. if you speak out against it you're seen as a delinquent or a predator. even otherwise progressive people get uncomfortable with the idea of dismantling the nuclear family unit because they still see it as the best way to keep kids safe when that simply couldn't be further from the truth. it's evil.

Vic again, not local disabled trans guy in dire need of rent assistance 💀 I have an obstruction in my right fallopian tube most likely due to endometriosis (laproscopy pending, appt is on 8/12) and I have had to miss a fuck ton of work because of it and am now OVER TWO WEEKS BEHIND ON RENT FOR THE SECOND MONTH IN A ROW AND MY LANDLORD IS ALREADY INSINUATING THAT HE'S CONSIDERING EVICTING US IF WE'RE LATE AGAIN.

hi, i'm a disabled transfem who just paid bills and only has $100 left even though i still need to put gas in my car and help my roommate afford groceries for 3 people. my job is closed for the next 2 weeks due to remodeling so i don't have access to the little bit of income i usually have. i've already been doing very bad and now i'm scared about being able to make the next rent.
