Metroid - NES 1986
Composed by Hirokazu Tanaka, the composer said he wanted to make a series of tunes that made players feel like they were encountering a "living organism" and had no distinction between music and sound effects. The only time a melodic theme is heard is when Mother Brain is defeated in order to give the victorious player catharsis. During the rest of the game, the melodies are more minimalistic, because Tanaka wanted the soundtrack to be the opposite of the "hummable" pop tunes found in other games at that time

Yet another Genesis port masterpiece from Matt Furniss composed by Dan Forden, A funky soundtrack full of drum riffs and vibes, this version if compared to the arcade and the SNES versions is much more powerful and effective, Nostalgic mode ON…
Theme Hospital OST Soundtrack [PC]
Honestly I’ve spent hours, days, entire months playing this game! super under rated, absolutely fun, the soundtrack was one of the longevity factors and still those tunes are running so many nostalgic retro tears... click play, be ready and prepare the tissues...
Comix Zone - OST Soundtrack [SEGA Genesis / Mega Drive]
Here we are in the mid 90s, it’s 1995, Comix Zone is one of the most revolutionary and creative beat-‘em-up games of all time but also its soundtrack is well curated with a very high number of tracks with an impressive fine set of arrangements. The style represents very well the mid ‘90s, an alternative rock / grunge feel the also fit perfectly the gameplay... enjoy!

Simcity OST [SNES]
Simcity Soundtrack is hands down the winner for the most nostalgic tunes ever, and this is by the way nothing new into the video games music especially during the '90s, how often those notes get us various swing of emotions that suddenly come back after 25years with a simple listening? well that's what will happen as soon as you will click on play...
TETRIS Soundtrack OST [Tengen Atari, NES, GameBoy, Amstrad]
Tetris is iconic, “A-Type” also known as “Tetris Theme” is one of the most popular songs ever appeared into a video game. Tetris is also an example of how in the mid-80s developers and publishers started to give importance to the mastering of musical tracks. This OST is a mix of Russian classical and folk songs with some original tunes of which the ones composed by Brad Fuller are the most notables. Here we propose 3 versions plus 2 bonus.. Tetris was released and ported on several platforms and is very interesting to see how not only the game itself and the gameplay was adapted but also the tracks ... enjoy
