Life/Blog Update

I’m sure most of y’all have noticed I am not super active here anymore (or you haven’t because I’ve been gone and am now obsolete and irrelevant noooo). It’s not that I don’t still lose my mind over CP, but I think I’ve just moved on to actively blogging about other things!! I will still reblog cute art and stuff here from time to time, but for the most part I’ve sort of shifted focus to my main blog!

he already had a built in fanbase that would have increased with national exposure, and considering it’s been 3 in-world years by 2020 he’s already an established brand. 

an upbeat feel-good youtube channel where a super cute blond guy teaches people how to bake like an expert, increasingly-more-often-than-not accompanied by his extremely hot, extremely sweet, very famous hockey sous chef husband. both of whom are now quarantined. like can you even fathom how popular this channel would become?

A Brief History of Benji Campbell and Birthdays

I can’t believe I forgot to post this earlier ;-; my time it is now 11/17 which means Benji’s bday is technically over, but this fic will hopefully slap regardless!!!

summary: A birthday is just like any other day, but worse. At least, that’s what Benji thinks until Victor. wordcount: 4347 excerpt;

“Yeah,” Benji says, smiling, a tear sneaking out of his left eye. “Yeah, that makes perfect sense. Thanks, Victor, this is…” He looks into his boyfriend’s eyes, warm brown, eyes he’s seen ecstatic, angry, on the edge of the worst of the worst. “This is perfect. You’re perfect.”

Victor leans forward kisses Benji, his teeth nicking Benji’s boom lip as he pulls away. He lingers close, their lips nearly touching still, both of them smiling, shining.

“I have some comfier clothes you can change into,” Victor murmurs and licks his lips. “They’re laid out on my bed.”

Benji’s heart does a double take behind his ribs. “Oh. Yeah, great,” he says, mouth dry. “I’ll be right back.”

“And I’ll be right here,” Victor says as Benji rises from the couch.

Good Things Fall Apart | Chapter 16: Articulation

“What?” Victor asks.

Benji shrugs. “Nothing. I don’t know. It’s just weird to be with you.”

“Good weird?”

“Yeah,” Benji says with a smile. “Good weird.”

Victor grins back and tosses his own legs off the bed.

Benji stands in the center of the room, golden, unprocessed, and Victor’s heart catches for a moment. Before he can think he steps forward and slides his arms around Benji’s shoulders; Benji grunts in surprise but returns the embrace, linking his arms around Victor’s lower back. This hug isn’t like the others, it’s not bursting with emotion, with longing, with the sparks of two pendulums finally colliding after swinging past each other for so long. This is comfort, this is relief. This is Benji, thinner than Victor’s ever seen him but seeping warmth, his body locking into Victor’s like a bone to a joint, like they were designed solely with this purpose in mind.

“I missed you,” Victor whispers.
