You know the saddest part about go3?

They died guys, they fucking died. I don’t wanna hear “oh but they didn’t die, they live on as humans” THATS NOT HOW THIS WORKS

Those two are some randoms wearing their faces. Azi and Crowley died in that bookshop holding hands and believing 100% that they made the right choice

This was so bad and so disappointing and honestly so hurtful.

Spoilers ahead

6000 years of friendship erased from existence. Not only Crowley and Aziraphale, but every single character we cared about in season 1 and season 2 is dead and has, in fact, never existed in this reality.

Characters played by the same actors are still different people.

Human Crowley wasn’t like demon Crowley at all. I know some people say he was a lot like angel Crowley and I guess that’s true. But angel Crowley isn’t the character I fell in love with in season 1. My funny, sarcastic, grumpy but inwardly nice demon Crowley is.

And human Aziraphale? Doesn’t own the bookshop but is an employee? He doesn’t even know which books they have where but has to ask temu Metatron so he can help a customer?

Remember Heaven wanting to give Job and Sithis new children to make up for killing the ones they have? And how they thought that’s good enough or even better?

The writers did that. They killed every single character we cared about from season 1 and season 2 and gave us different ones to make up for it.

“Oh, but they always choose humanity”

Yes, it made sense for them to make that choice. But it doesn’t make sense for writers of a light-hearted show to make them choose between their own happiness (and existence) and the freedom of humanity (a different humanity, not the one they loved) without giving them a loophole. A loophole that is not “two random gays that look like them get married yay”

I’m sorry to be a bummer. And I’m sorry that I’m returning to this account after such a long time only to be negative. But this is not the show I loved. Maybe I can enjoy the book again one day, simply seeing it as a different universe. But even S1 of the show is ruined for me because NONE OF IT MATTERED. It didn’t even happen.

Someone online makes a comment about how Shane probably isn’t a very good boyfriend, saying his flat affect and resting neutral face in paparazzi pics and video must mean he’s detached and not affectionate compared to Ilya who is much more overtly affectionate

Ilya then has the rest of the Centaurs help him make a compilation of secretly filmed Shane moments showing how good a boyfriend he is

Ilya doing the “would you still love me if I was a worm?” thing and without missing a beat or asking any questions Shane just goes “Yeah”

Harris films himself asking Shane random Ilya questions and Shane always having an answer. “Hey what Ilya’s favorite milkshake flavor?” “Mint.” “I’m buying everyone fun socks, what’s Ilya’s favorite color?” “Blue, but only if it’s light, he doesn’t like dark blue.” “What’s Ilya’s favorite fruit?” “Pears.”

Troy waits for Shane to sit on the bench looking at his phone or tying his skates then says “Oh hey Ilya’s coming in” and catches multiple examples of Shane immediately scootching over to one side to make room for Ilya to sit next to him

Ilya puts his feet up on Shane’s lap silently and Shane starts lightly massaging them. Ilya lays his head on Shane’s shoulder and Shane starts quietly playing with his hair

They film Ilya handing Shane random things and asking him to hold them and Shane does without question. The internets favorite is the one where Ilya pulls a pineapple out of his bag and asks Shane to hold it and he agrees, getting his gear on one handed so he can keep holding the pineapple in the other

Hayden gets a video of Shane letting Ruby brush his hair and fill it with clips while he and Jade do Ilya’s nails, Ilya laying with a face mask and cucumbers over his eyes and his head on Shane’s lap

In the same fucking day I have had a man tell me I must be using AI (🤮) to write up information on a subject that I HAVE A DEGREE IN bc I couldn’t possibly just know what I’m fucking talking about, and then a different man tell me that there isn’t a gender health gap in the UK, despite the numerous studies that’s prove him wrong. Because I mentioned the lack of treatment and research concerning conditions like PCOS and endometriosis.

I try so hard not to just be a misandrist but at a certain point I wish they’d just take a fucking back seat and let women be.
