self-improvement should be because you want to improve your quality of life, not because you feel or think you *need* to be better in order to be loved or allowed to live. there's no end goal with self-improvement, it's easy to dig yourself a grave when you don't realize that you're not on a ticking clock to be the 'best version of yourself'. all you need to strive to do is be the version of yourself you are the most happy with. find out what values you find important, what kind of friend do you want to be, how do you want to react to things. what are things that would improve the way you go about life? what would make life easier, better and more enjoyable for you?

It sounds so cliche, but learn to enjoy the journey. It’s so easy to wish you’ve already accomplished the next goal you’ve set, but after that, there will be another goal, another mountain to climb. There is no specified destination in life, so you might as well find joy in the process of healing and working towards your goals. It can be so difficult when all you want is to be at a place you aren’t at right now, but that will come in time. For now, turn your mind towards accepting, and enjoying, where you are right now even if it is far from ideal.

This full moon in Aries is pretty intense. I had to take a look at the chart. There’s a loose grand square with the sun, mars, moon-chiron, and pluto. I’m curious to see what unfolds on a global scale in the coming days and weeks. I hope it’s not war and violence, but just more exposure, truth, and discernment. Some energy needs to be released on a collective level and issues related to the planets involved need to be addressed.
