What if Steve went even further for Jack? Jack dies in a shoot out in a case, overcome with grief over the untimely death of his friend Steve steals his corpse from the morgue hoping to resurrect him. Instead of going down the science route he fully succumbs to using magic and ends up using his own ink and black magic to bring Jack back to life.

Alas the dead should remain dead it seems as Steve starts to realise that Jack has an insatiable hunger for ink and meat forcing the magician to team up with the cults to get fresh ingredients, never letting the detective know just what exactly he's being fed...

Hear me out-A 1970s era 2D animated slapstick comedy musical about a young optimistic orphan mouse girl who wanna spread positivity and hope to her small slightly rundown city.

It is so so so very important to me that Jack Pepper is a massive dork. He makes dumb jokes to himself and laughs at them and comes up with silly rhymes. In the steamboat he starts whistling the soundtrack music. He’s a kick ass grizzled detective but he’s also so, so, SO cute and silly with it

Meet Rosemary Manchego, but she prefers it if you call her “Rose”. She’s Jack’s wise cracking secretary who’s almost always seen sitting behind her desk just typing away on the typewriter, recording entries for him (what if she mysteriously shows up whenever there’s a typewriter to save the game?), refers Jack as “Mr. Peppah”, although she does call him “Jacky” sometimes just to annoy him a bit. I thought about her being sort of a comic relief type of character, always having a funny quip to say towards Jack as their polar opposite personalities bounce off each other. How on earth is Jack able to afford to hire a secretary with little money he has?…Simple, she a good friend of both Jack and Wanda and Wanda knows Rose doesn’t mind the volunteer work. However she does accept payments of being treated to lunch. She’s a half mouse, half rat hybrid (although she passes more as a mouse) which is why she appears taller than an average mouse. Despite her being a ditz, she surprisingly has a PhD (reveals later that she’s much smarter than she looks and just acts like a ditz because to her it’s fun to fool rich gullible men into giving her free gifts). She speaks in a thick nasally New York accent, heavily inspired by Harley Quinn and Fran Fine from The Nanny. Her name Rose is named after Rose DeWitt Bukater from Titanic (get it? Jack and Rose?), and her last name Manchego is a type of cheese originated from the La Mancha region of Spain.
