For sale here!
Another prototype! I've had the idea for this design in the back of my head for a while. I like it a lot, but it was surprisingly difficult to do. It'll be up in the shop later today or tomorrow, together with the marquise moonstone.
I opened my etsy shop!

There’s still one finished pendant I haven’t uploaded because I forgot to photograph it, but I’ll do that tomorrow. Reblogs would be greatly appreciated!
I just realised that the backside of this labradorite cabochon shifts between vibrant purple and golden depending on angle. The front side is blue. It's a shame the person who made the cab didn't use the purple/gold for the front side, it's much more interesting than the common blue, but it might not have been large enough.
Amethyst wrapped in sterling silver filled and pure sterling silver wire. I kinda need to get a camera when I open my etsy shop, this one doesn't catch colours very well...
Moonstone wrapped in sterling silver filled and pure sterling silver wire. I'm very proud of this one.
Front and back of an unknown tumbled stone I wrapped for my girlfriend's mom. It's my first time wrapping a tumbled stone, and my first time using bronze wire, so I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome; It's plain, but very securely fastened.
Blue labradorite I wrapped as a birthday present for my mum. I also made an earring to match with a smaller cab, since she’s a violinist and only wears one dangly earring, but I didn’t get any pictures of that.
Rose quartz I wrapped for a friend. I asked how she’d like me to wrap it, and she told me to do whatever I’d like, so here’s a prototype on a new style! I’m very happy with how it came out.
Blue moonstone I wrapped on a plane journey from Denmark to England. This style is much quicker to do because of the lack of coiling on the sides, but it’s only secure for small cabochons.
Raw quartz pendant I made for my girlfriend. I still have 10 quartz points left, so I'll take some better pictures once I've wrapped some for sale.
WHEN TUMBLRITES MEET IN PERSON
Meet fluffyballofdeath, she’s been around my blog for ages ever since we both got interested in corsetry and I love talking to her. Low maintenance friendship, always tend to hear how things are going eventually. I’m on an exchange in the and suddenly found out a while ago that she too lived here.
As in, I was walking down the shopping street and all of a sudden “someone” shouts my name and jumps in front of me -heartattack- One of the best surprises during my stay here.
Today she returned to Denmark. We also managed to meet up for the first time. It was lovely, it was great, I could talk triple the amount of hours that we chatted. Screamed at myself when I found out I had accidentally left my camera on, so I couldn’t take proper photos as I had hoped. Cellphone-selfies at the station it is. Goodbye isn’t too bad. Oddly enough, the sense that we’ll meet again is imminent.
She also started her own little pendant/necklace business and I’m so proud to be a first customer. Utterly and entirely in love.
I’m still not over meeting up.
Until soon Mila :) Best of luck travelling back! Purrs.
This is the same pendant from slightly different angels. I love labradorite!
I cut redid the first cabochon I wrapped. Looking back, it was pretty terribly done; I've only made a handful of pendants between my first try and now, but I've become so much better already. The coiling still isn't perfect, but it's getting there!
Here was my first attempt with the same stone:
Labradorite wrapped with brass wire. I’m really happy with how this came out :D It’ll be on etsy as soon as I’ve got some clasps for the chain.
Reserved for aureliart
Dark amethyst and brass wire. The little piece of wire through the bail is just a little stand, I had to get some light underneath it in order to get the colour to show up with my crappy phone camera and artificial light.
Golden obsidian and brass wire that desperately needs some polishing. I love this stone, it's full of golden sparkles when light hits it straight on, but they disappear completely when viewed from an angle. I feel like filming the lustre of all my gems :D I tried out a different design, I don't know if I'll be making others in this style...
