i know Turn: Washington’s Spies is a pretty shitty show but HEAR ME OUT: Tommy as the idealistic officer (former schoolteacher who signed up to FIGHT FOR FREEDOM (and who has a Hero Worship/Crush on Washington)) who gets tasked with ~gathering intelligence but guess what? he can’t lie for shit. Good thing he’s childhood friends with a mischievous Mr L0vett who, yes he’ll smuggle goods to the continental army but no way in hell will he sign up, what, are you crazy? Okay, I guess smuggling information isn’t that different from smuggling foodstuffs.

Favs is but the humble cabbage farmer who only wants to support his family when his childhood friend L0vett rolls up and is like, yo, Tommy wants you to write some coded messages and smuggle them into New York City inside your cabbages, thanks.
