It finally happened, after a 6 years break (my longest, I admit it) I restarted the game for the first time and with my huge surprise I managed to move my contents from my very old and dying pc, to the one that I suppose to use for work. And I'm not even a little bit ashamed.

I might decide, kids, husband, work, sleeping time permitting, to create some new contents, to be true I was sure the blog disappeared in the last 6 years, so I'll take it as a sign.

Obviously the first thing I've done since installing the game and dealing with 37468 compatibility issues, was to test if my Alariel is still pretty as I remember her. She definitely is.

Hopefully my next post will be in less than 6 years. At least I'll try.

As many of you probably know by now, The Sims 2 is my main game, the one I use to create my stories and where my favourite characters are born. Some months ago I’ve finally installed The Sims 4, in the beginning I was hating it because I couldn’t replicate my sims as they supposed to be. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but I’m finally starting to enjoy it. The new expansion pack looks amazing, who doesn’t love mermaids? 🧜‍♀️

Ophelia was born in game about 9 years ago and she was so perfect I couldn’t believe it. Since then I moved several times and I changed a number of PC and laptops. Long story short, I lost her Sims2Pack not once but twice, and this is the third version of Ophelia, made at the best of my abilities to resemble as much as possible the original file. Unfortunately this version of Ophelia seems to have lost the “innocence” of her first version, but I guess this is how life works. Still love her tho

This is how I usually take and edit my The Sims 2 shots. It is a very basic tutorial that can followed by anyone even without any specific competence (that I don’t have), but still improves pictures quite a lot. Let me know what you think.

Just a picture of a couple of sims created in 2008 by me (him) and a friend of mine. everything started with a GDR online that lasted about 3/4 months and ended with the greatest group of friends I’ve ever had in my life. I like to think that somehow most of the sims I created the following years are somehow connected with this couple, and going back through all the stories we create, it is somehow true.

And that’s why, after more than 10 years, I’m still here playing the sims 2 like if it’s still 2008 <3

Yes, I made the #tenyearschallenge too but using one of my old (but not one of the oldest, I started in 2007) sims2 pictures... I made the one from 2009 exactly ten years ago and uploaded on koin up the 2nd february 2009... I loved and I love it but she needed a bit of work... She’s the same sim, Sofia, Just with some new CC and with a lot of Photoshop tricks I learned in the last 10 years. Hope you like it :)
