Name's Oliver, I'm 23, very trans and very queer, also neurodivergent which is why we are here. I am chronically ill as well and being in hospitals for half of my time gets boring which is why I write fanfics about many of my interests.

‎My interests vary a lot and I will have months of bombarding with one of them and then jumping to another, but you can always expect Batman and Sharks to be here (hence the name)

‎Tumblr has always been my safe place to post all my hyperfixations and special interests without feeling like a burden, cause not many people follow me here and I am very sure no one that I know (in my country) uses Tumblr and it also helps me distract myself from my own situation, I am still getting poked and scanned to find a solution to whatever my body is doing to itself, it gets lonely and scary at times.

I’d like to add this photo I took last night in Victoria of the statue of Captain Cook. Though I myself am not indigenous, I 100% agree that these murderers, kidnappers and rapists shouldn’t have huge statues and plaques that decorate them and say how “great” they were.

Here’s another photo of the legislative assembly from yesterday. Later on there were more items, candles and signs at the memorial, as well as a big poster with 1505 painted on it but I didn’t get a picture

People need to see this. Not just quickly glance at the photos and keep on scrolling. They need to see this.

I had seen the first picture of the church, but not the second.

I went to a “Cancel Canada Day” event and burst into tears - not because I was surprised to learn of the unmarked graves (survivors told us they were there. Our government pushed it aside, and we let them), but because seeing all the people gathered in mourning drove it home: They. Were. Children.

This is my country’s legacy - and it’s not history. The last schools closed during my lifetime. My Father went to school with students who lived at the local residential school, after it was changed to a boarding house (read: holding centre) for indigenous youth who went to local schools.

They were all children, injured, abused, and killed in my country’s attempt to erase them. I want the world to see this and hold the state accountable to *active* reconciliation> I mean we could at least truly adopt UNDRIP in action instead of words for god’s sake.

CHAPTER 3 IS OUT!!!

Now how will Bruce solve this whole problem? Feelings are hurt and a new character makes a presence.

This is a very fluffy hurt/instant comfort fic, probably ooc a lot of the times and canon is not here, we heal how we want.

I took longer to write this one, huh? My semester is finishing and I am trying my best to not collapse from anxiety and other trauma related stuff. It’s shorter than usual i think, but hopefully you like it.

Comments > Kudos

I think this is always said to give kudos and comment but I also never thought about it that much before I started writing on AO3 (had been writing FICS since I am 12 but we don't talk about Wattpad era)

I woke up to a lot of love for my recent de-aged robins (bat kids actually) fanfic and I am very happy about that.

But it is not only happiness, it's the fact that I know people are enjoying my writing and that makes me want to keep writing more for them.

For me fanfics had always been a source of comfort, a new side to my favorite shows/characters so giving that to others had always made me a little emotional. (In the good way)

So yeah, if you really like a fic and you are kinda scared to comment, you can always do the basic "loved this/enjoying this fic/can't wait for an update/etc" or "extra kudos!!" it might be less "personal" but I promise that comments are important.

I am not sure if other authors feel the same but for me comments feel more real than kudos.

In this chapter the so called “help” finally arrives at the Wayne manor and Bruce is starting to have his pre-crisis moment. 

No need to worry, we will give the man a break between cries and sads (because unlike DC I want my characters to be happy)

For now tho, poor Bruce is dipping his toes into parenting 6 little kids.

FIRST CHAPTER JUST DROPPED!

Alright, so been trying to work this one out for way too long so I decided to just edit and post, it is going to have some more chapters, it is hopefully going to be updated weekly too This is supposed to be a “Bruce has a second chance and this time he will actually try” and all of the kids will have soe much needed hugs and healing.

We have all the wayne kids here: Dick, Jason, Tim, Cass, Damian and Duke plus some surprise guests and Steph lol.
