Vessel is the lead investigator. Always had an interest in it, doesn't know what made him believe in it, he just always has. Started investigating less to find proof of the paranormal but more in an attempt to connect with it and try to confirm or deny the stories around a location.
Sleep is the- they're not entirely sure what Sleep is exactly. But it's attached to Vessel and literally goes with him everywhere. Only Ves has seen them as a full body apparition and whether he can't describe it or refuses to is unclear. But it does show up on camera, often as a mist or an orb with tendrils streaming off of it. II is fairly convinced that it's the most useless demon ever and threatens exorcism at every minor inconvenience.
II is head researcher. He finds the locations and everything there possibly is to know about them. He has gotten them into places the others thought they'd never get to go. Didn't think it was real to start with but after a few investigations with Ves (because he's not letting him go into crumbling abandoned buildings alone, haunted or otherwise) and 1 too many things he couldn't logically debunk is now a firm believer (Sleeps fault btw). Mainly just in it to watch out for his friends though.
III is the gear guy. Keeps up with all the latest developments in investigative tools and determines what could be a useful addition to their arsenal and what's honestly just a waste of time and money. Doesn't trust the phone apps no matter how many other teams are using it. Hates REMpods specifically. They do have one, but he doesn't like it. 100% would just build all his own custom gear if it didn't mean they'd get accused of rigging it and he doesn't want to damage their reputation. Keeps a ouija board in the case despite IV's insistence they never use one. Which they don't, but he has it anyway. Very evidence driven. Chasing that undeniable proof that this is real and they're all not crazy.
IV is the camera tech. Those are his babies and he doesn't care how scared you are, you do not drop his cameras. Has only gotten mad on camera once and it was when a tripod nobody was near tipped over seemingly on its own and cracked a lens. A bit of a sceptic still, they have a tendency to send him on his own to the most active parts of locations to see if something happens that he cannot explain. Makes attempts to debunk everything but will admit when he can't. They're waiting for that 1 incident that will fully convert him.
