With the school year coming to a close, it makes sense that the partying has started to die down a little bit. Since finals and graduation are just around the corner, most Busies, Freaks, and Rulers are probably at home, struggling to study in a desperate attempt to pass their classes by the time the end of June comes around. Well, I mean, that would be the most logical reason for why Josiah Li’s party this weekend was a complete and total flop. But then again, parties advertised last minute on social media don’t tend to attract the most incredible crowds. 

Party Animal teamed up with freshman Busy, Little Z, to throw a last minute shindig in his backyard. Complete with booze, Busies, and beer pong, it wasn’t much more than a small get together chocked full with underclassmen. Then again, what else do you expect with Little Z as one of the main party advertisers?

Though, we don’t blame Josiah for this flop. It was last minute-- at least the upper tier to middle tier ratio was higher than normal. Party Animal has a gift for these sort of things; he effortless crafts parties like it is an art form. Hopefully he can redeem himself over summer. XOXO.

Well, well, well, look what we have here. Love triangles are always such exciting fiascos, and in this case, the fact that all three members are in the top tier of the pyramid just adds to the essence of it all. Busy clique-mates Barbie and Two-Faced are apparently decking it out over the one and only Josiah Li. The two girls, who are apparently friends (is Maggie really genuine friends with anyone?) both have developed feelings for their overlapping boy toy. Isn’t this Busy math? Busy + Busy + Ruler = one hell of a threesome. Sources have confirmed that Barbie admitted her feelings for the Ruler, subsequently, Two-Faced has been moody and standoffish. We’re honestly surprised they haven’t figured out this situation, polyamory is a thing, you know.

But the big question is: is Lura really into Josiah for being him? Or is she into his popularity? One little fiasco like this could provide her the cred she needs to bump up into the highest part of the top tier. Let’s hope she doesn’t have ulterior motives. XOXO.

The Wicked Witch of Westwood strikes again-- her prey Dawson Payne. At prom on Friday, the moon shone high in the sky as the two danced the night away. Sources note that the two were seen smooching, pretty peculiar considering Dawson is practically still a child. But then again, do we expect much more from the Busies? Knowing the Wicked Witch, she has gotten around with half of the junior class; it would make sense that she is starting to fall back on people pretty much half her age. 

Unfortunately, to our knowledge, Nola and Dawson didn’t do much more than smooch-- though, a source notes that they saw the freshman sucking on the older girl’s neck. Pretty kinky for someone we’re pretty sure has never gotten laid, ever. We’ve never really taken the Wicked Witch seriously, but after this little incident, it’s highly unlikely her social rep can be improved. It could be worse; she could have snuck off to give him head in the boy’s locker room, but thankfully, she had enough sense to stop at first base. 

This is just the beginning. Please Nola, have the decency to hook up with someone your own age. Babysitting with your tongue is never cute.

Hey Westwood, hopefully everyone has nursed their hangovers to health by the time this fine, foggy Monday morning rolled around. Fog isn’t the only thing looming over the school at this hour, the intense regret of the student body hangs over peoples’ consciences too. Gossip, audio recordings (thanks drunk butt-dialing!), and pictures have been sent in nonstop since Friday night. Over the week, we’ll be releasing the information as it comes in. But fair warning, prom weekend seemed like a social nightmare for the kids that decided to give in to temptation. We can only hope it doesn’t ruin your rep.

Most/least likely to win prom queen/king/duke/duchess?

Most likely for king: Probably someone from the higher cliques. Alfie’s an obvious choice, maybe Walcott if hell freezes over and someone rigs the votes. 

Most likely for queen: Female seniors high on the pyramid are few and far in between, it’ll probably be homecoming all over again with Stella. 

Most likely for duke: Everyone loves prom couples, do they not? This’ll probably end up being Ezra if Cindy claims the crown. If not, Raf will be the perfect duke to Lizzie’s duchess. 

Most likely for duchess: Olivia, Tatiana, and Belle will probably be duking it out for this one. Maybe Cindy as a choice right out of left field. Secretly rooting for Lizzie though.

Least likely for king: Someone lower on the pyramid, like Samson or Joaquin. They’re just out of the picture. 

Least likely for queen: Fiona Spellman, probably. Who even is she? 

Least likely for duke: How did Dawson even get into prom?

Least likely for duchess: A wordie, somebody nobody knows. Someone like Hanna Sullivan.

For males, we’re going to have to go with Creed. Lenox has been rocking the sideboob all night, for the ladies. And, as usual, all of our nonbinary classmates have been looking quite spiffy.

Here are some examples:

Sophie went to Amber’s party on Friday, even though she didn’t want to. Sophie doesn’t always feel like she fits in at Drifter parties, mostly because she believes they’re too high in social ranking to want to hang out with her. At Amber’s party, she kissed her ex-boyfriend, Connor. She thinks Connor has feelings for her again, but she doesn’t know. She’s afraid to admit that she still has feelings for him too. 

Living in the Lower Class Neighborhood and going to Westwood has always been a struggle for Connor. Amber, a girl he hooked up with a few parties back, offered him a job at her parent’s art gallery. Amber offered Connor the job because she felt bad for him and she knows it would make her look very good socially. 

On Tuesday, Cata was caught cheating on her test from answers she received from Luke. Everyone knows that she has been sleeping with the TA because she’s not smart enough to pass an AP class on her own. Yet again, another case that adds to the stereotype that Jocks are in fact idiots.

When did Beth disappear off the radar?

Dreamgirl never dropped off the radar, she just stopped being the center of attention. New girls are only new for so long.

Over the past few hours, Twitter has been lit up with news about the recent squabble between Princess B and Westwood’s resident Barbie. With local trending topics #teamlura, #teambelle, #wihsatwar, #ww3 floating around, it is fair to say that this little throwdown in the library had an immense impact on the students at Westwood. A source notes that the two began to fight at approximately 1:20pm in the library, with a plethora of spectators just standing around and enjoying the show. People even tweeted pictures of them standing by with popcorn in hand, proving just how entertaining this incident had to be.

But let’s start with the facts:

Lura and Belle verbally fought in the library for around ten minutes for spectators to listen in.

Lura and Alfie kissed. 

Belle retaliated about Lura’s homewrecking nature. 

Twitter blew up.

Though we hate to admit it, Princess B did have the upper hand. The fact that Barbie just decided to make a move on Westwood’s beloved Golden Boy didn’t seem like the best idea. As much as we love that quality Busy action, this move didn’t seemed planned out to the extent it should have been, mostly because Golden Boy decided to be open and honest with his girlfriend. So kudos to you two for having a quality relationship.

No fists were thrown, to our knowledge, unfortunately. Hopefully the next time something like this happens, Alfie and Lura won’t be stupid enough to get caught. XOXO.

Here’s a fun rule of thumb: don’t hook up with a freshman unless you want the entire student body to know about it within the week. Busy bee Little Z has been getting particularly busy with a certain Pirate, rumor has it. Little Z and Cherie Curie have been linked before in the past-- they left together from Queen T’s party on Friday. Does the freshman have a new fling? And will this fling cost her her social standing? Hopefully this little crossover won’t lead Zaley to descend down to the Pirates, a Busy’s nightmare come true. Careful Little Z, don’t let the double standards about sexuality at Westwood come back and bite you in the ass.

Party rookies, take note: Queen T always knows how to throw a killer party. Last Friday night, the most socially respected kids gathered at Tatiana Chaand’s house for a night they hopefully weren’t too drunk to forget. The Rulers’ house was bustling with fellow Rulers, Busies, Jocks, and Drifters. The relevant-to-not ratio was higher than ever, with only a few members of the lower cliques weaseling their way through Tatiana’s doors. Queen T always does a spectacular job of weeding out those less relevant than her. 

In fact, Queen T spent a majority of her night maintaining this bubble of social superiority, kicking out those who she deemed ‘not relevant.’ Sources note that Tatiana specifically booted various Pirates and Soap Opera from her home, in particular Fiona Spellman, Westwood’s resident Cherie Currie. Cherie Currie bailed with freshman Busy, Zaley Hollis. Careful Little Z, skipping out on social events with members of the Pirate clique never looks good for anyone’s rep. 

On another note, a surprising person made an appearance at Queen T’s party, former football hottie Luca Fletcher. With his whole downward spiral ending in rehab, we found it odd that he would pass his Friday night at a social event surrounded by booze and designer drugs. Rumor his it that there’s more to this story-- he has apparently been spending a few nights at Queen T’s house. More likely than not, Tatiana has been watching out for him now that he’s fallen from grace down to the Prayer Circle. A way to reaffirm social standings would be to fuck your way up to the talk, who knows, maybe Luca’s destined to be the next big Busy on campus.

Consensus is: this party was totally awesome. Maybe not Project X status, but good enough to hold the Freaks and Busies off until summer wraps around. Take note Tomboy, this is how to throw a party.

WARNING, SPOILER ALERT: None other than Joaquin Javier has returned to walk the halls of Westwood International High School once more. Hollywood, who pretty much vanished off of the face of the Earth for nine months, has returned with a plethora of stories to share about his time on set. Will Hollywood be the one to return the dignity back to the Soap Operas? Because without him, they’re pretty much a group of ragtag wannabe performing arts kids that make up fake rumors for the attention.

Hollywood has already made a red carpet appearance, walking into the school blasting Eminem in the middle of AP testing. Let’s hope administration will handle him appropriately-- we all know WIHS does not need any more bad press, especially in regards to one of their most publicized students. 

Everyone remember to give Joaquin a warm welcome and don’t forget his little episode at last year’s Emmy’s.
