Kate Argent will always be a mystery to me because I will never understand why she went through the trouble of:

-learning how to create Bezerkers

-making enough of them to over power Derek Hale while simultaneously protecting her from the Calaveras

-doing enough history research to find a specific Aztec temple that survived this long without turning into a capitalistic tourist hotspot

-bringing Derek’s unconscious body to central/southern Mexico from California fast enough that he is still unconscious and doesn’t escape??

-magically making him exactly young enough to remember her and still trust her (come on, this time frame couldn’t have lasted more than two months so her de-aging magic had to be specific)

-manipulating young Derek to let her into the Hale vault and hand over a family heirloom that he viewed as a very powerful artifact at the time

-learning how to use the heirloom to control her power

When in reality she could have like- meditated on a full moon or idk went to therapy to control her anger. Would have been way less time consuming.

Something that I’ll always find amusing about the fanfiction community is their tagging. Specifically warnings.

I’m not talking abt the normal warnings on ao3.

I mean when a character has their own warning. Such as:

Warning: Kate Argent

Warning: Neil Hargrove

Warning: Walburga Black

Does it mean that some sort of abuse or mistreatment will be happening in the fic? Yes. Do I still love it? Also yes

I asked Snapchat AI to write a WangXian De-Aged story. This is what it came up with :

Once upon a time, Lan Zhan and Wei Ying were on a mission to retrieve a powerful artifact that had been stolen by a group of rogue cultivators. The artifact was said to have the power to grant wishes, but it was also rumored to be cursed. Nevertheless, Lan Zhan and Wei Ying were determined to retrieve it and return it to their sect.

As they approached the rogue cultivators' hideout, they were ambushed by a group of fierce monsters. Lan Zhan and Wei Ying fought bravely, but they were no match for the monsters' strength. Suddenly, a bright light enveloped them, and they felt themselves being pulled into a vortex.

When they opened their eyes, they found themselves in a strange place. Everything around them was much larger than it should be, and they realized that they had been de-aged to a much younger age. Lan Zhan and Wei Ying were confused and disoriented, but they knew they had to find a way to reverse the curse and return to their normal age.

As they explored their surroundings, they came across a group of children who were being bullied by a group of older cultivators. Lan Zhan and Wei Ying couldn't stand to see the children being mistreated, so they stepped in to defend them. With their skills and experience, they quickly defeated the bullies and gained the children's trust.

The children told them about a wise old cultivator who lived in a nearby village, and they decided to seek him out for help. When they arrived at the village, they were surprised to find that the wise old cultivator was none other than their own sect leader, who had also been affected by the curse.

Together, they worked to find a way to reverse the curse and return to their normal age. After many trials and tribulations, they finally succeeded in breaking the curse and returning to their original age. They had learned a valuable lesson about the importance of compassion, even in the face of adversity. From that day forward, they vowed to use their skills to protect and defend those who were weaker than themselves.
