Hear me out: Riordaniverse AU where the entirety of EVERY. SINGLE. BOOK. Takes place in the minds of a group of kids at a random daycare. Camp Jupiter and Camp Half blood aren't halfway across the country, they're only different classrooms down the hallway. Valhalla is just a park that happens to be down the street. The magician's school is a a house a few blocks away where kids come to learn piano. All of the demigodly stuff, the magic, the world building, it's all made up by the kids, which is for one why it's so inconsistent. The school has a vague Greek mythology theme and those brats decided to run with it, giving themselves tragic back stories, super cool and over the top powers, etc. Chiron and Mr. D are the only viable teachers, meanwhile they occasionally have volunteer college students like Apollo, Hestia, and anyone else who drops by. The budget is pretty low, so they kinda have to accept any children brought in, just to make a living. Every time a kid 'dies' is because they had to move away. Lupa is a social worker that stops by. The Oracle (before Rachel) was the Janitor that nobody saw. Nero and the Triumvirate were just Meg's really weird dad's that everybody heard was rich and decided to run with it. Jason getting 'impaled' was only because Caligula was telling him off for something random and happened to poke him in the back. Apollo screamt at his ex and they're banned now. Gaia is from the bank and kept sending her 'children' (other employees) to try and convince the owners to just give up and sell the place. Leo exploding her was simply just an incident with a cut rubber balloon and toilet paper role. I really really wanna go on. Think about the potential. I beg of thee.

LEO: Some of the Einherjar get their own CNC machines and I can request for one, but I feel spoiled enough. Personally, I'm just trying to make friends with someone on Floor 12 to take me white water rafting down there.

Still reading the first Magnus chase book and I still love Loki with all my heart even tho hes only shown up twice.

And with my very limited knowledge of Norse myth (littarly most of my knowledge is Loki and his spawn)

I am now thinking of a Norse son of Loki! Luke Castellan AU

And honestly i'd sympathize more with Luke then. Because honestly he'd have more reasons to hate the gods. Even if we dont keep the daddy issues in that AU.

Like here are some reasons he'd hate all Norse gods:

•Only fucking caring when theyre kids are dead and in Valhalla.

•Being trained to fight for a war they probably caused (Look me in the eye and tell me they didnt cause Loki to want to start Ragnorok)

•Loki fucking with his life

AU Without the daddy issues:

•All of Loki's children, with the exception of Sleipnir, being either mistrusted, banished, exiled, chained or killed.

•Loki's entire punishment (He just killed everyones special lil guy that was just overkill)

In conclusion someone needs to make a Son of Loki Luke Castellan AU.

Id do it but i am still on the Sword of Summer, incredibly biased with Luke (negative) and Loki (positive) and have way too many w.i.ps anyways

inspired by this pjo au i saw i propose the mcga au starting with how they all died

also heads up that i haven't read mcga in a few years so my details might be iffy lmk if there's anything wrong

no squip au + strangers au besides chloe and brooke

jeremy - tried to save someone from being mugged but died (his skinny ass can't do anything), the person they saved survives tho and is invited to his funeral

WEAPON: pocket knife

^ yes he has to die in the most pathetic way i think it's funny

michael - saved a little girl from a car about to run over her (drunk driver), was technically not supposed to end up in valhalla but had a "weapon" in his hoodie and ended up having to discuss it with the thanes, they gave up trying to negotiate with him after he beat them at mario kart

WEAPON: nerf gun (don't ask why it was in his hoodie im not so sure either but it's michael)

christine (ft actress!christine) - the theatre she was performing in caught on fire and she made sure everyone was safe and outside before burning to death inside the building

WEAPON: prop sword (do fake weapons count?)

rich - got into a street fight with a guy that coincidentally was not a good person, both of them ended up dying but rich was sent to valhalla for his deeds. explaining the weapon was awkward though, at least he's super strong. and probably a son of thor or smth ngl (idk the restrictions for demigods that well in mcga)

WEAPON: stop sign

jake - was substituting at a school to make ends meet after his parents took all the money after he turned 18, protected a group of students from a school shooter with his own (secret) weapon, was able to stall the shooter until the police came but died in the process

WEAPON: pistol

chloe & brooke - caught someone attempting to r/pe a child and were able to kill the person but at the cost of their own lives. the child grows up traumatized but grateful for the sacrifice chloe and brooke gave

WEAPONS: chloe - lipstick knife, brooke - comb knife (chloe wanted them to have matching self defense gear that looked functional and girly)

jenna (ft journalist!jenna) - worked in countries that censored media with death penalty, discovered that a tyrannical leader was going to launch a nuclear weapon to the united states and reported it to the world before being locked up and killed. she attempted to escape capture with her weapon but was unable to resist and flee quickly enough. after her death, the once dangerous country was liberated and the former dictator was assassinated

WEAPON: pen knife

most of these were impulsive ideas so they're probably ooc but yeah 🫡 also i didnt rlly have any weapon ideas for chloe and brooke so suggest better ones pls?? but i would love contributions to this
