The bell chimes as the familiar thick and syrupy smell of Honeydukes greeted you both. It always seemed like the air itself had been dipped in sugar. Neither you or Sebastian had stepped foot inside the candy shop since you were children, and though the shop seemed smaller than it used to, it was no less enchanting. The nostalgia of the place helped.
âReady to get a cavity?â you teased, turning toward the freckled face youâd dragged along with you today.
Sebastian smirked, already plucking an Every-Flavored Bean from the nearest bowl and tossing it into his mouth. âI couldâve sworn there were more options,â he said, chewing thoughtfully as his eyes swept across the shelves. âAs a kid, this place was a luxury.â
You tilted your head up to look at himâreally look. He wasnât the boy you remembered darting around these aisles, pockets jingling with stolen sugar and knuckles scraped from whatever trouble he found himself in. No, he was taller now, broader, and far too good-looking for your own peace of mind. He towered over most of the displays, giving himself a perfect vantage point to take inventory, while you had to tilt back on your heels just to meet his gaze.
The realization made heat crawl up your neck, so you quickly busied yourself by dashing forward through the aisle, snagging a lollipop from a nearby jar and peeling the wrapper off with more focus than necessary.
âItâs still nice,â you countered, hearing his footsteps behind you as the sweet aroma of caramel and chocolate fills your nose the deeper you move into the store. A glance to your left, and you smile, the lollipop pulled from your lips. You pick up a chocolate frog, turning towards Sebastian. âHow could this ever not be a luxury?â
Merlin, you had no idea what you did to him.
The moment you turned with that long and swirled lollipop in your hand, he forgot entirely about whatever sweets heâd been eyeing. He stared at you for a second, and for some absurd reason he was suddenly very aware of how dry his mouth was. You swirl the stick between your fingers, slipping it past your lips, turning back to the shelf as if nothing were out of the ordinary.
Sebastain swallowed hard, shoving another bean into his mouth.
âChocolate frogs donât count,â he said, forcing a laugh. It came out lower than he meant. âTheyâve always been everyoneâs weakness. Too easy.â
You hummed in reply, too distracted to notice the way Sebastian caught himself staring again. The way your lips wrapped around the sweetâMerlin help him. His face burned hot as he turned to a shelf of fudge to hide it.
âYou okay?â you ask, tilting your head at Sebastianâs sudden shy behavior. It was unlike him to be flustered, especially without reason.
âFine,â he coughed, clearing his throat. âDo you think they still have Exploding Bonbons? I think IâllâŚgo find some,â
And with that, he ducked down another aisle.Â
You shrugged, tossing a few sweets in your bag for later, oblivious to the chaos currently unfolding in Sebastianâs head.
Down the row, he dragged a hand down his face. You and he had been best friends for years. He shouldnât be thinking about you like this. Mistakenly, or maybe fatefully, he glanced back just as you sipped the twisted, hardened sugar past your lips. He bit the inside of his cheek, watching you suck lazily on that bloody lollipop, his restraint being whittled down to nothing.
You turned then, feeling the pressure of his gaze, lollipop still pressed to your lips and raised your brows in mock innocence. It hit him thenâif you can do that with a sweet from HoneydukesâŚwhat else could you do?
âDid you find the bonbons?â
Sebastian startled, nearly dropping the box in his hand. He hadnât found anything because heâd been hopefully distracted by you and the new ache in his pants. Adjusting himself discreetly, he blurted, âTheyâreâuhâtheyâre right here.â
You reached past him, holding the candy with just your lips, plucking the actual package from the shelf. âHere, silly.â
âRight.â He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. âHowâs your, uh⌠lollipop?â
You tapped the candy against your lips, now faintly tinted red. âGood. A lot sweeter than I remembered.â
Sebastianâs jaw clenched. He had to get you both out of here before he lost his mind. The things he was imagining werenât sweet in the slightest, and they certainty didnât belong in a candy shop.
âAlright,â he mumbled, tucking his own bag of sweets beneath his arm, âI think Iâve had enough sugar for one day; besides, thereâs something better than Honeydukes I want to show you.â
You tilted your head, suspicion and sarcasm mingling in your voice. âBetter than Honeydukes? Doubtful.â
âCome on. Trust me.â He smirked, offering you his hand. Tossing a few extra Galleons onto the counter, he led you out into the crisp Hogsmeade air. âI promise it wonât disappoint.â
Side by side, you walked to the Floo, shortening your trip to Feldcroft. Sebastian was grateful for the excuse to put even a little distance between himself and that damned lollipop you were still working. Why in Merlinâs name did it have to be one of the long, swirled onesâthick, glossy, and utterly indecent in your mouth?
The world semi steadied as Feldcroft came into view. Quiet. Peaceful. The kind of hush that always fell once the sun dipped low. His familyâs home stood nearby, though he had no intention of going inside. Instead, he led you up the hill past the ruins, where the fields stretched wide and golden beneath the fading light.
âSee?â he said, gesturing toward the horizon. âTold you. Better than Honeydukes.â
You smiledâbecause he wasnât wrong. A sunset did beat a candy shop. Settling into the grass, you stretched your legs out and popped the lollipop back into your mouth with no fanfare. You focused on the view while Sebastian sat beside you, trying not to combust.
You were doing this on purpose, werenât you?
Finally, he let out a groan.
âDo you have any idea what you look like right now?â
Your brows knitted together, playful confusion on your face, voice muffled around the sweet. âWhat, eating candy?â
âNo,â he muttered, raking a hand through his hair. âSucking on it likeâŚthat.â
You blinked, confused, before realization dawned.
You hid your smile, and perhaps just to torment him, you let your tongue curl around the candy before pulling it free with a little pop.Â
âSebastian Sallow,â you teased, leaning closer, âare you saying youâreâŚjealous of a sweet?â
âNot jealous,â he admitted, dragging his gaze to you, done letting you play dumb. âBut I can think of something better for you to put that mouth on.â
The words hung heavy, hot, and for a devastating second, he thought you might laugh.
But you didnât. Instead, you held his gaze, lips parted like you were trying to decide if now was the moment to finally kiss him.
He read the initiation all over your face. Cupping the back of your neck, Sebastian pulled you to him. His lips crashed against yours, tasting of cherry sugar and years of restraint finally snapping. The lollipop tumbles forgotten into the grass as your hands fisted in his shirt, kissing him back just as hungrily.
Your hands found their way into the soft brown strands on his head, tugging gently. His tongue traced your bottom lip before he stopped himself. Any further and he was going to pin you against the earth.
He pulled away only long enough to rasp against your lips, âCome inside with me.â
You nodded, pressing your mouth back to his, unable to stop chasing the electricity racing through both of you.
Neither of you had ever moved faster. Within minutes you were down the hill, through the path, and bursting through the door of the Sallow home. His lips were on yours at once, cradling your face as he walked you backwards into his old bedroom. He pushed you to sit on the bed, leaning over to kiss you again before breaking away, breathless.
âMerlin,â he breathed, straightening just enough to drink in your flushed cheeks. âYou have no idea what youâve done to me today.â
You smirk said otherwise. âOh, I think I do.â
Your hands slid up his thighs, a familiar mischief glinting in your eyes. This gaze was darker. Hotter. His pulse roared in his ears, every bit of self-control heâd ever had towards you simply shattered.
âBloody hell,â he murmured, his hand gliding from the crown of your head down to cradle your jaw, thumb stroking your cheek in stark contrast to the hunger in his gaze. âDo you have any clue what youâre about to do to me?â
You didnât answer with words. Confident fingers made quick work of his button fastening, pulling down the zipper until you could tug down both his pants and boxers in one sweep. His breath caught, a hiss escaping through his teeth as his cock sprang free into your palm. His eyes shut tight, head tipping back for a moment.
A slow teasing drag of your tongue caught the base to tip, tasting the salty slick of his arousal. His hips jerked voluntarily.
âAlready losing control?â your voice purred a sinful melody.
âKeep talking and see what happens,â he growled, hand tangling in your hair as he gave into the need to touch you. âGo on. Suck me like youâve been doing with that lollipop.â
Your lips parted, and then you took him into your mouth, never breaking eye contact. His entire body jolted as heat coiled low in his belly. A groan tore from his chest at the sight of your cheeks hollowed, lips closed around his length.
You swirled your tongue, feeling him twitch.
âFuckâŚthat it,â he shuddered, tightening his grip in your hair, guiding you just a little. âTake it all.â
You sank him deeper, slow at first, savoring every reaction you wrung from him. Sebastian couldnât stop the curses spilling from his lip nor praising you between gasps.
âMerlin, you look so good like thisâŚso fucking good with your lips around me.â
âBetter than the lollipop, darling?â
âDonât stopâjust like that.â
You relaxed your throat, pushing him deeper, gagging slightly but powering through the tears pricking the corners of your eyes. His hips stuttered forward, gently rocking into your warm mouth.
He fisted your hair tighter, gripping the strands to control the pace, trembling with the effort not to finish too fastâbut every wet sound and flick of your tongue made it nearly impossible. He thrusted once.
âMmph!â You choked, glancing upward, spit pooling at the corners of your mouth.
âFuckââ he gasped, tugging lightly at your hair in warning. âIâm shitâIâm close. You better pull off now if you donât wantânngh.â
You didnât move. Instead, you sucked harder, forcing him down your throat, your determination undoing him completely. His cock twitched as he shot hot streaks of his release down your throat. You hummed in satisfaction, working him through the aftershocks with every broke groan.
When you finally pulled back, panting, you licked your lips. Sebastian stared at you, dazed, hair sticking to forehead.
âSweet hell, darling,â he rasped, brushing your cheek with a trembling hand before kissing the top of your head. âI think Iâm going to give you lollipops more often.â
