Alhaitham Headcanons
• Alhaitham is not naturally clingy, but he becomes deeply attached in subtle ways. He’ll act like he simply “prefers efficiency,” yet somehow always ends up sitting beside you, walking home with you, or reading in the same room as you. Not because he needs company. Because he specifically wants yours. And that distinction matters to him.
• He remembers everything about you. Not in a creepy way. Just Alhaitham notices details most people ignore. The exact tea you prefer when tired. Which books frustrate you. The difference between your fake smile and your real one. The way your footsteps sound when you’re upset before you even enter the room.
You could insist you’re fine all day long and he’d still calmly hand you food and say:
“You’ve been quieter than usual for approximately six hours. Something’s wrong.”
• Arguments with him are frustrating because he’s annoyingly logical. Not cruel. Not dismissive. But if the two of you are fighting emotionally while he’s approaching things analytically, it can feel like talking to a wall at first. However, once he realizes you need emotional reassurance instead of solutions, he does adapt. He’s just not naturally expressive. So his version of comfort sounds like:
“I’m not leaving because we argued.”
Or:
“You’re important enough for me to stay and resolve this properly.”
Which, coming from Alhaitham, is basically a love confession.
• Physical affection starts small. Very small. Brushing hands together while reading. His knee touching yours beneath a table. Resting against your shoulder while working. But once he’s truly comfortable with you? He becomes unexpectedly affectionate in private. Especially late at night. There’s something about being exhausted after long Akademiya days that makes him softer. You’ll be half asleep and suddenly feel him quietly pull you closer against his chest while continuing to read. If you point it out the next morning, he’ll deny nothing.
“Your presence is relaxing.”
That’s it. That’s the explanation.
• Kaveh suffers constantly because of your relationship. Not because Alhaitham neglects him. But because witnessing Alhaitham in love is psychologically devastating.
“You bought them flowers?” Kaveh says in horror.
“They like flowers.”
“You remember their favorite flowers?”
“Yes.”
“You don’t even remember MY birthday.”
“I remember it. I choose not to engage with it.”
Meanwhile you’re in the background trying not to laugh while Kaveh questions reality itself.
• Alhaitham trusts very few people completely. So when he trusts you, it’s profound. He lets you see the exhausted side of him nobody else does.
The side tired of being perceived as emotionless simply because he isn’t expressive traditionally. The side that overthinks quietly. The side that sometimes feels isolated from everyone around him intellectually and the greatest proof of his love is that he never masks those things around you. You become the one place where he doesn’t have to constantly explain himself.
• If someone hurts you emotionally, Alhaitham becomes terrifyingly cold. Not explosive. That would require losing control emotionally. Instead, he dismantles people with terrifying precision. A single conversation from him can leave someone reevaluating every decision they’ve ever made. The worst part? He never raises his voice.
He just looks at them with complete disappointment and says something devastatingly accurate. Then comes home to you afterward like nothing happened.
• He loves domestic intimacy more than grand romance. Quiet mornings. Reading together in silence. You sitting beside him while he works. Falling asleep tangled together after long days. He doesn’t need constant excitement in love. He needs peace. Consistency. Trust and if he finds someone who gives him that? Alhaitham loves deeply enough to spend the rest of his life beside them without hesitation.
• One of the clearest signs Alhaitham truly loves you is that he starts including you in his future automatically. Not dramatically either. Just casual things like:
“We should move those bookshelves eventually.”
Or:
“You’d dislike that region’s climate.”
Or even:
“If we stay here long term, the house will need renovations.”
We. Long term. No hesitation. No fear. As though loving you became such an undeniable fact in his mind that his future naturally reshaped around your existence.
• And honestly? One of the most romantic things about Alhaitham is that he chooses you consciously every single day. He is not impulsive with love. He does not fall easily. Which means if Alhaitham loves you, it’s because he looked at every part of you carefully, the good, the difficult, the emotional, the irrational and still decided:

One of Kinzo's love languages is quality time. While he is very loud and constantly on the move, he does like being in the same room as his partner while they both do their own thing. He spends a lot of time writing music for his band to play and likes when you look it over. If you want, he'd even teach you how to play the tsugaru-jamisen!
Though he also likes different forms of physical activity, so he would try to get his partner to play differing sports with him. He's shown in Salaryman Exorcist to be a fan of the game cops and robbers after all, so maybe you could help him in training for that whenever he has to harass play with the Kyoto Trio(Ryuji Suguro, Renzo Shima, Konekomaru Miwa) when one of their birthdays come about.
Beauty - What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?
Ask this to Kinzo on the spot and he would practically combust. Though what he truly would admire about his partner would be the way that his partner would handle themselves, how they exist around others vs being alone. Though a lot misses him, you are very important to him. A physical part of you would be your hair, no matter what you decide to do with it! He likes touching it, even if it sadly messes up your hair.
Comfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?
Kinzo is a person that is ruled by his emotions so there are multiple ways that this could turn. Generally feeling down or upset, he tries his hardest to help out in making you feel better. If you're over stimulated and need him not to touch you then he will be right next to you just listening to you let it all out. If you need to be hugged, he'll pull you in and hold you as tight as he could in a way of comfort. Panic attacks are similar but he is a bit more lost with these, though he's trying to learn how to help out with that sort of thing like with breathing exercises. While he doesn't know how to handle this a lot due to not being around this, he's slowly learning what you need.
However with both of these situations, afterwards Kinzo always makes sure you're hydrated by giving you water, "crying takes a lot of water, drink it."
Dreams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?
As Kinzo has a very family oriented family (having six siblings) he wants to get married and settle down. He wouldn't want as many kids as he has siblings unless it's something that you want. If it's something you cannot do then he's fine with the amount you would choose. No matter what gender you are, he doesn't mind adopting a kid.
Equal - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?
If anyone knows Kinzo, they would tell you that he is definitely more of the dominant one in the relationship. Extremely passionate about things he cares for and you could as one of them! When he wants something he isn't afraid to say it, no beating around the bush with this man as a partner.
Fight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?
All relationships have fights, this is a normal thing that will happen between two people. Kinzo is used to fights more than most people due to the amount of siblings that he has. He's emotional and of course this will come out in how he acts. He does get a bit loud at times, though he's very good at apologizing if he did something wrong and does his best to work through what he did.
Gratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?
So Kinzo has a slight problem of not being able to notice things easily, like a whole conversation going on next to him but he's focusing on something else. He is by no means perfect but he is very grateful for you being with him and being around him in general. Truly he does adore you and is very grateful, sometimes he doesn't notice a lot of things though, but again he does really love you.
Honesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?
This one is a tricky one. It depends if you know demons exist or not. If you don't then he'd keep demons and him being an exorcist a secret only stating that he is a monk (and of course he's a metal singer too, you'd know that way before you start dating him). Kinzo is relatively open with everything but that if you aren't in that world. He only wants to protect you since he's seen what happens to people.
However, if you do know about demons or are an exorcist yourself. . . You only have to worry about the things he very simply forgot but hey! You'll both be shocked when that truth comes to light!
Inspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?
Being with Kinzo would get you out of your shell rather often. Of course, not if you set the boundary of disliking something. He won't push you if it is something you absolutely despise.
Jealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?
His jealousy comes within sparks. If someone is flirting with you especially is when he gets jealous. When this happens, he comes behind you and wraps his arm around your waist to make it very obvious that you're with him. Depending on how jealous he's feeling maybe giving you a kiss on the cheek and fully inserts himself in the conversation.
Kiss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?
Kinzo is a bit of a messy but passionate kisser. He wraps his arms around you into a tight embrace during them, simple pecks turning into something a bit more just to show his love for you. This didn't really change from the first kiss that he had with you a little bit after your confession since he truly couldn't control himself. You both got together, he wants to give you all the love he has to give.
Other than kissing you on the lips, Kinzo likes to kiss you on the cheek as his second favorite part!
Love Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?
The two of you were hanging out one day around in the forest that the Myoo Dharani sect. Taking a walk and talking about whatever both came to your minds. Until he fully stopped, taking your hands in his and confessed that he couldn't hold back anymore and that he really wanted to be with you in an official way and start dating. Of course, since you're here at this alphabet, you said yes. Now he was over cloud nine, you're stuck with him now.
Marriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?
As stated earlier in Dreams, Kinzo does want to get married. Of course before he ever proposes he would ask if you would like to get married and if you say yes then he will begin to plan the whole proposal. As much as he would love for it to be elaborate of a surprise. . . Kinzo talks too much and all of the plans are other there floating around until all his family friends know that he's going to propose with each bit of details added.
Then during the actual proposal he completely messes up on his words to you while on one knee before just blurting out an "I love you!" Please accept him. He loves you dearly.
Marriage would be pretty similar from dating however, Kinzo would be flaunting around that he got married to you to anyone who listens. I do mean anyone. You make him very happy. The happiest man in Assiah.
Nicknames - What do they call their s/o?
He seems like the type to use the regular "Babe" or "Baby" type of nickname for his partner.
On Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?
Kinzo's feelings for you is so obvious. Flirting with you even when you're both way into a relationship, whenever he's not talking to you and you walk into the room you fully take his attention as he just watches you with hearts in his eyes. The way he expresses his feelings are in a mix of quality time of just hanging out with you. Both of you being in the same proximity doing different or the same things. Another expression is physical touch, he will randomly run up to you and lift you into a spin hug especially when he's back from a mission. He wrote a song about you! Though hopefully you like death metal.
PDA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?
The phrase "get a room" was invented for Kinzo by his brothers. No such thing as a secret relationship here, nope not at all. Kissing, touching, hugging, bragging, all of it! Walking together he's either holding your hand or his hand trails towards the small of your back. Swinging his arm over your shoulder, picking you up, hugs. Will randomly grab your face and kiss you.
You did something for him? "Well you see my AMAZING partner-" yeah he doesn't hold back. Wore a cute new outfit? That's his new lock screen photo! Kissed him first? He's swooning. Of course even using his bragging to shove it in his younger brother Renzo's face that "I have an amazing partner and you don't." Brotherly rivalry and all.
Quirk - Some random ability they have that’s beneficial in a relationship.
Kinzo is emotional. He's very in-tune with his emotions and what he wants. So he is very great at communicating, of course he won't catch every bit of your emotions he doesn't hide his so he doesn't want you to hide yours.
Romance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?
He is cliche. He is a cliche cringy sappy romance man. He says things he believes are romantic but it ends up being rather on the cringe side. He is cringe, he is free, and he loves you. Sometimes with how he acts that love can feel almost too much.
Support - Are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? Do they believe in them?
Biggest cheerleader! Anyone else thinks they are your biggest cheerleader? NOPE! Make way for Kinzo Shima! He will always support you in what you want to do. Even if it is a change in plans from before, even if the idea to most others would seem kinda dumb, he is always there for you.
Thrill - Do they need to try out new things to spice out your relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?
He absolutely ADORES thrill and trying new things to spice up the relationship. Almost never going to the same date location twice, sometimes randomly springing you on an adventure for a day that may or may not end in a positive way.
Understanding - How good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?
So Kinzo is a very emotional person, once he understands you and what makes you tick he is very well knowing of who you are. He does still do things that accidentally piss you off, but if you tell him he does apologize.
Value - How important is the relationship to them? What is it’s worth in comparison to other things in their life?
Kinzo is the type of person that when he is dedicated to something, that something becomes very important to him. You truly are no exception to this rule. You mean a lot to him and so does this relationship he has with you. He holds you in very high regards in all aspects of his life.
Wild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.
If you have any form of blemishes on your skin like moles or freckles, when the two of you are laying in bed or relaxing in general he likes to run his hand over the areas with these blemishes.
XOXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?
Imagine this, you are sitting at a couch and Kinzo comes up to you. Throwing himself onto the couch next to you and puts his arm around your shoulder to pull you even closer to him. This happens commonly. Kinzo comes up behind you and wraps his arms around your waist. He gives you quick surprise kisses and everything. Kinzo is very hyper affectionate and loves being with you.
Yearning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?
Complain. To either himself or one of his older brothers, especially Juzo because he understands! He has a wife! "Why do they have to be gone for so long!?" "Kin. . . It's been two hours." "Siiiiiiiggghhhhh. Ugh not fair." (Of course it mostly being Juzo instead of Gozo as he's overseas, but if he was in Japan. . . He wouldn't escape the whining from his younger brother that his beloved partner isn't there).
Zeal - Are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship? If so, what kind of?
Kinzo is an extreme case of someone that goes to great lengths. With how much he deeply cares about you he'd almost do anything when you need help or just doing things that he thinks about.

He was such a worrywart. A few moles wouldn't kill him; he'd be fine. Well, unless they were cancerous... But you thought every single one was so cute. While he freaked out at the mention of any blemish.
Yukio just didn't understand.

It's early, too early. The sun was barely hanging in the sky as Yukio slid out of bed, trotting to the kitchen to make a pot of coffee. Despite the warmth that drove him closer and closer to taking the day off to stay with you, he had a duty to his students. The loss of the heat beside you made you squirm and reach out for nothing.
Slowly waking up to see Yukio staring right back. Blinking the sleep from your eyes while he smiled at your tired face. Cupping your cheek as he explained, “I’ll be leaving for work soon.. Go back to bed, m’kay?”
A soft coo that made you melt even more, pressing a quick kiss to his lips as you sat up. An endearing flush on his cheeks.
“I'm already awake now...” You grumbled with faux anger as he walked toward your shared closet. Slipping off his pajama pants, opening the drawers where his True Cross Academy teacher uniform sat.

It wasn't meant to be attractive at all, just his back facing you and his shirt falling to the ground. Back barren to you in all its glory. Freckled and little adorable moles scattered along his back.

“What?!” He yelped and gripped the dresser tight. Holding on for dear life as the impact of having another dreadful blemish hit. Teeth gritting together while you were ecstatic. Hugging him tight while he trembled and heaved. Heart rattling against his chest. Finger pressing into the spot that had appeared on him.
As you let go and kneeled down behind him, you noticed the shape. Biting your lip as you tried to stifle your laughter, noticing the shape of his cluster of circles.
“I-is that.. Orion?”
“Orion? As in the...”
“The constellation, yeah.”
The whole room was silent. Except for the meek noises Yukio let out. Leaning against the drawers for full support. As if his legs would give out at any second.
“Ah, Yukio!”
Now fully slumped and falling. From the dresser to his knees and finally, his back. His face pale and ghostly. You got closer, fully ready to give him CPR. But he managed to rasp out a few words. “I don't even get any sun…”
“It's okay, they're just moles!!” You cried and shook him. All you earned was a glare as he sat up, yanked his shirt from the hangers, and put it on with pure rage. He stomped around while he hurried through the room, getting ready for work. You chased after him and tried to calm his anger.
He was too quiet, racing through your home and only stopping at the door to face you.
“I have to leave now. I love you.” His voice broke and cracked pitifully. Pressing a few kisses on your cheek as the door shot open and shut just as quickly.
Everything happened so suddenly, even watching his race to the academy as he pulled out his phone. Probably dialing his doctor again.
At least you could laugh about it and not be whined at now.

I always knew I was a bit different than others. My family actually guessed I was on the spectrum of being queer since I was 3, with how I would stare at woman in absolute awe. Literally didn't find out until I was an adult that my dad sighed and literally said "Fuck. I have a gay one."
So when I came out as "bisexual" at 13 my mom gave me this weird look and just went "No you're not. You're asexual and a lesbian." This woman was almost 50 btw
Now of course I didn't believe that because "Well I know I'm right!"
Then I came out to my dad and he flat out said "I don't care about labels. It changes all the time just go be yourself. I literally don't fucking care."
I'm now an asexual lesbian(romantic orientation) and my mom is constantly asking me if I finally have a girlfriend yet. Which. . .
No mom. . . Please don't call me a loser because I can't pull women :<

Week 11: Melphira Marchalrayd from Pass the Monster Meat, M'lady & Laios Touden from Dungeon Meshi - Platonic
They both like eating monster meat and are from fantasy shows with a plot about eating monsters. That's it. That's the post.
With more context, I think they'd get along amazingly with constant rants that they both do about monsters and knowing another person with such a fascination with monsters, they'd get along quite well honestly.
IT IS NOT TUESDAY BUT IT IS THE 10TH WEEK OF CRACKSHIP TUESDAY!!! I know these don't get a lot of traction but for the tenth week coming out, if anyone sends me any request with one of the crackships I have posted about with a writing prompt for me I will write it!
No matter what! I will write it! And this will last for until the end of time! Or until my carpel tunnel gets worse. But yeah! Any request for any of the crackships I post about with a prompt and I will write it! Even ones that come after week 10! If you have some crackships of your own and recommend them inside of a prompt, I'll add them to the queued list and if I get the fanfic done I will post it along side the same day with that ship! As long as I know the characters obviously.
The prompt can be in extreme detail or it can be a simple text prompt where you send me dialogue to add into the fic. Besides I need to get more into fic writing anyway!
Week 10: Dante Sparda from Devil May Cry x Sangonomiya Kokomi from Genshin Impact - Romantic
Imagine this, it's 2024 and you're at a beach resort with your family inside of a house rental that isn't too different from an Air BnB. You just got back from the beach and are laying down in your bed basking in the sunlight when suddenly it hits you. The ship of a lifetime. This was that ship for me. Dante x Kokomi!
During this time period my friend was just introducing me to one of my now favorite video game series, Devil May Cry! She showed me her ENTIRE playthrough of DMC 5 then showed me DMC 3, beg in mind she had the damn Vergil on a lawn chair mod installed with NO OTHER MODS making me think that it was a cannon thing in the game when it really WASN'T. But at the same time of me becoming a DMC fan I was already a Genshin Impact fan and avid player. I had finished up Sumeru and was waiting on Fontaine as that would be the newest region to come out in the next month during the time of me concepting this ship.
There's a whole story with it too, Kokomi finds a strange curtain within the shrine and goes through stumbling into the Devil May Cry store and meets with Dante. She cannot find a way back home and he helps teach her how to relax. Meanwhile Dante doesn't have to worry about this specific romantic partner getting injured since she has strange healing water magic. However it turns into a bittersweet ending where Kokomi in the end does still have to return home to Watatsumi Island. Maybe one day I'll actually write a fic on these two, but I need to do that for a loooot of these ships but this one is at the top of my list.
