In the light of Sue Klebold coming forward in a recent interview, Jennifer Smull, a columbine survivor is not backing down to what she says she saw on that day. She was one of the students who was in the classroom where Dave Sanders died. Smull says there was a third shooter and that there were several people who didn’t speak up or were witnesses to what happened prior to the shooting. She went on to say there were other’s who were helping Eric and Dylan. After the shooting, however, she claims officers tried to convince her what she saw wasn’t so and was due to shock and the traumatizing events. She believes there was a big cover up and that reasoning being “[Because] all loose ends are tied up when all the guilty parties are dead.” Smull said she’s been wanting to write a book about what she saw that day but she has gotten threats not to and fears her safety if she decides to. Her initial comment on Facebook (which ignited people asking questions and her opening up) was as follows: “I’m a survivor of the Columbine shooting and after watching that (The interview) I want to spend time with her at the memorial. I don’t know what I would say to her, but I would hug her and tell her I feel she is welcome at the memorial next to the school in Clement Park. I chose forgiveness a long time ago in 1999. “
this is rly creepy i hope columbine wasn’t staged and this is just a theory
It’s Jen’s word against everyone else’s! She said she’s not going to be bullied into lying about what she saw. I don’t think columbine itself was staged. It happened. What she’s trying to say is there were more people involved than just Eric and Dylan. But, because they killed themselves the police figured that’s all they needed to satisfy the community. What’s eerie is if you read the comments and she said “The police said Eric and Dylan died sometime after 12pm. So who blew up the fire alarms at 1:35pm?” I don’t know I’m not much on theories but if I remember correctly there were reports of 3 gunmen by other students as well when they talked to the media. I’m not sure about official documents because I haven’t read all of them. @blood-of-innocents @everlasting-contrast care to inform or comment?
yeah I read the witness statements in the report about there being a 3rd gunmen, and lots of them stated it was Robert Perry but I don’t know how much long after the massacre these witness statements were made bc ppl could have talked w/ eachother and kind of subconsciously made themselves believe it was Robert that was the 3rd shooter & the speculation could have got to them (he was a columbine graduate at the time of the shooting so there was no reason for him to be at columbine) but ya it is eerie. also, I recall 2 witnesses stating one of the gunmen had lots of acne and i don’t think Eric or Dylan had any??? which is why ppl assumed it to be robert perry once again bc he had acne
http://whatreallyhappened.com/WRHARTICLES/columbineeight.php Apparently 101 eye/ear witnesses say they saw more than Eric and Dylan.. (52 saying it was Robert) And this one was reported in the media the day columbine happened: Channel 7 News at 12pm(noon) on 4-20 (EP 21-244) “Reporter said that numerous witnesses he spoke to who were not named said they saw 3 gunmen.” I don’t know it’s weird but I will agree some of it could have been subconsciously made like you suggested. Still interesting…
The biggest reason as to why I don’t believe that there was a third gunmen is because outside of the shooting itself, there’s no evidence of a third person. Eric and Dylan wrote and drew out their plans, and a third person was never involved in those. The third person wasn’t in the basement tapes.
Also we know who shot who. (Like Eric shot Rachel, Dylan shot Kyle) so unless they had the same type of gun as Eric and/or Dylan, they didn’t shoot anybody.
Witness statements are usually not that accurate in a situation like this. Most of the people, if not all of them, that said there was more than two gunmen were the people outside. When a shooting first breaks out, there is obvious panic and confusion. So in my opinion I think they were all flustered and confused. But who knows. I wasn’t there and I’m not an expert. I just don’t think that there could’ve been a third shooter.
How do we know there were no accomplices in the tapes? Perhaps that’s why they were “destroyed.”
I disagree we know anything concerning the ballistics - that’s all from FBI / ATF whose lead investigators included Dwayne Fuselier whose sons went to Columbine High School, knew the suspects, and (in one of their cases) produced a video for class depicting an attack on the school two years before it happened.
I also disagree that there is no independent evidence of other gunmen. In large part this is because we’ve been denied access to the evidence. Where is the footage from the hallways or the administration area (where they’ve admitted there were cameras)? No one died in these areas (by official accounts) so why can’t we see the footage? And what of the shell casings found on the roof (never admitted) and in science rooms 1 or 8?
I also think the initial statements of Pat McDuffee should be considered evidence. McDuffee was a member of the Trench Coat Mafia and gave a detailed account of who the gunmen were and who helped plan and prepare for the attack. He completely retracted his account shortly thereafter, likely due to fear. His account is corroborated by countless other reports about foreknowledge of the attack among many students at the school: http://schoolshooter.blogspot.com/2009/12/who-had-foreknowledge.html
I agree that witnesses aren’t always reliable but when there are numerous witnesses identifying the same people in the same place doing the same thing, they are reliable. There was a cover-up.
