I don't remember how effie was described in the book when she pulled haymitchs name for the 75th but in the movie she says it with relief and I never understood it but after reading sotr it breaks my heart because she knows peeta is gonna volunteer and now she knows haymitch won't have to go into the games again. If peeta had been called haymitch would've volunteered in a heart beat and then he would've died for katniss, at least to me thats what effie would've been thinking

So I'm rewatching Charmed (1998) and I noticed in the first season the shape-shifter is able to touch the book, but not able to take it out of the house. But in later seasons evil isn't even able to touch the book, it just gets repelled. It got me thinking and was there ever an explanation? Besides just being a plot hole I'm thinking it could be that when they first get their powers the book won't let anything take it out of the house but as they grow closer as sisters and more powerful as witches it strengthens the books power to protect itself. Just a theory 🤷‍♀️ if anyone knows if there was an actual explanation I'd love to hear it!! Or any theories yall have!
