Story Time

TL:DR = Sappy story time, i love my friends, please dont photobomb my film thanks  To all my followers, new and old! A history lesson. Four Renfest seasons ago in the time of 2010 when I first got my very first DSLR I went to visit a few people I know at the Michigan Renaissance Festival. It is this season, and in this place, that I started down the path of becoming a professional photographer. It is here that I met Russ ofRuss Turner Photography and Mark of Pict Studios! Who become my mentors and some of who I consider my closer friends in the art form. And at this time, Russ and I were starting out and in the following year we went very divergent paths pretty soon. We all know that he has become an award winning photographer in the steampunk and well known for his studio work. Mark surprises a lot of people with where he goes and what he gets to do (Dont know if I am at liberty to say, just not on this continent wee) and then there is me. I kind of sped in first gear getting my feet wet and trying out so many things. My technical skill and form really came in a year ago now, when I started taking traditional classes. This is where I was introduced to film photography, and the dark room. This is where I truly fell in love and love playing with chemistry to make images more so than with digital. With that said, I will be shooting A LARGE CHUNK OF 100' ROLL OF FILM For Sweet Endings this weekend! This to show you all my passion, and what the beauty of film still looks like. I hope you all enjoy and I cannot believe how far we all have come in just those four short years.  You all! -Lance

Hey Everyone! This event is happening and all the logistics are complete! Prereg is live and we are a go.  35 dollars a person.  89.00 for a room if you want one at the hotel! If you want to vendor there will be a special price this time for an additional 25 dollars, but only 10 slots available.
