WELCOME to The Incongruence of Stars and Flowers

SUMMARY:

"This alternate universe combines the vibrant world and history of Sonic the Hedgehog with our very own, resulting in a version of Planet Mobius that’s both familiar and distant. Yet, this altered reality is neither idealized nor greater than the sum of its parts.

Anthropomorphic beings, humans, and animals of Mobius are struggling to rebuild their cityscapes, ecosystems, communities, and personal lives in the wake of the cumulative devastation of the Perfect Chaos Flood and the Black Arms Invasion. Shadow the Hedgehog takes a leave of absence from G.U.N. to temporarily settle down in Station Square, laying low after the world-shattering encounter with his alien DNA donor Black Doom. While the cityfolk around him undergo the growing pains of instability, nonconformity, sociological upheaval, and corruption, so too does the alien hybrid. With the support of unyielding friendship in aloof activist Sonic the Hedgehog and cultured confidante Rouge the Bat, Shadow coasts in this new life chapter while feeling profound pulls to unravel memories surrounding his loving creator, Professor Gerald Robotnik and solve mysteries within his environment, mind, and body.

Past and present perspectives interweave to show slices of unordinary lives, drawing from early-to-mid 2000s culture shifts/natural disasters/political tensions, U.S. and European history, and various fields of science as inspiration for this multi-chapter science-fiction drama mystery."

as much as i loooove shadow's character as it is (and what im about to say may be a hot take), his story would hit harder if he was a woman.

there's so many themes that are already hard hitting, but if he was a female character they would gain a whole deeper meaning and uuuuuuugggghhhhhhhhhh. the expectations for being perfect, for being a caretaker and failing at it, AND those expectations being there since before birth. the body being manipulated to fit those expectations. the terrible male figure (both gerald and black doom) that imposes his ideals into the character against their wishes. having to go through physical changes that fall out of their control, that cause pain and discomfort, and the body horror aspect of it (lol remember the essay i wrote). shadows past relationships, his connection to maría and having it compared to his relationships with gerald, black doom and even abraham tower.

Firstly, no one said complaining was necessarily a bad thing. By itself it is, though. Secondly, elaborate on this “effective” solution you got then, and let’s see you put it into action. Then, I’ll better gauge how seriously to take you.

The thing is, I cannot predict my "solution" will be effective, because it involves a wider community becoming aware of where their money is going, and it's up to individuals' choices whether to change their sp3nding or not. I cannot control that. My main goal right now and course of action is spreading correct informational sources so people can make informed choices if they want to continue f1n@ncially supp0rting Paramount-Skydance, and the Sonic Movies tied to the company. Ideally, it would be great if less funding goes through the m0ney chain to feed into the company's news stations that will likely fuel f@sc1st-y prop@g@nda. I don't see any dominant or active conversations about how the changing times will change the context in which the beloved Sonic Movies are created from, and how its creation, popularity, and success doesn't exist in a vacuum. I hope to foster important conversations so others have the tools to talk about it, too.

I talk about it because many people care where their money goes, especially not wanting to supp0rt unhinged sociopathic d1ck-t@tors currently running the world. Lots of Sonic fans are a part of marginalized groups who are negatively affected by currently elected politicians across many countries, with said politicians turning them into politicized rage-bait topics to trigger big0ts into voting for fellow big0ts. Money runs the world, and money going to 🍊🤡👨‍🦱🇺🇸 is especially contributing to worsening quality of life in the USA, and also degrading our allyships with other countries. Many Sonic fans grew up being taught to fight for others' freedoms and watched their favorite Freedom Fighter kick Tech-Bro D1ck-t@tor asses every week. So avoiding fin@nci@lly supporting people taking others' freedoms away is an obvious cause that would make someone care about CBS (OWNED by Paramount-Skydance) readily agreeing to become an unhinged d1ck-t@tor's pr0p@ganda machine. Plus, the father of David Ellison (the chairman running Paramount-Skydance) is a long time fellow billionaire buddy, bus1n3ss partner, and contributor for 🍊🤡👨‍🦱🇺🇸

Hey Sonic fans, I barely see anyone talking about how the people running Paramount-Skydance have made themselves examples of f@sc1st b00tlick1ng...they bribed 🍊🤡👨‍🦱🇺🇸 for the presidentially approved merger by d0nating to his prsesidential fund, CBS will become more "politically diverse" as ONE of the conditions to appease 🍊🤡👨‍🦱🇺🇸, and there was talk of him being excited for future personalized ads & future pr0p@g@nda farming on CBS.
