Undertale Headcanons Masterpost - Ver. 2
alright, i'm trying again! hopefully things go better this time!
this is going to be a long ass post about every au i write for, every skeleton i write for, and how to request headcanons (once i get that up and running again). link to old masterpost

The List is split into two parts: the original aus and the inspired aus. the original aus are aus that most people recognise and have gone through a basic, one-time change, e.g underswap - everyone swapped, outertale - undertale in space, mafiatale - undertale in a mafia setting. the only exceptions to this rule are the fellswap/swapfell aus as they are basic/distinct enough on their own to be included within the original au list.
those marked with an asterisk i've changed into my own interpretation of the au because i either wanted it to suit my own tastes, or i don't know enough about the original au to confidently say that my version is anything close to it - hence, the separate au names to distinguish them!
the inspired aus are aus that went through two or more changes/an au of an au, e.g horrordust - horrortale if it went through dusttale, lustswap - underswap if it was lust-ified, mafiafell - underfell in a mafia setting.

request rules and guidelines - before requesting anything, please check my pinned post whether requests are open or closed. note that just because my requests are closed, that doesn't mean talking to me is off limits. my inbox is always open. ramble at me all you like!
only one (1) AU per request. with so many aus, i cannot handle more than 1-2 characters per post.
please request a scenario and not just 'write a headcanon for insertundertaleauhere' so that i have something to go off of. i need inspiration and telling me to just write doesn't really do that.
headcanons are written from a gender-neutral reader POV. very rarely will i write from a gendered reader POV.
if you would like a gendered reader, state so in your ask, but please please note that my brain works funny and if i cannot for the life of me see the correlation between your scenario and the need for a gendered reader, i'll make it GN instead. there might not be any correlation and you just wanted a gendered reader just because, but my brain just straight up will not realise that that's what you're going for and i will instead make it GN. just a warning in advance T^T.
i have more experience with and personally enjoy writing male reader more than anything else. there's a lack of male reader headcanons and fics (with an actual focus on the fact that reader is a guy and not just... GN 2.0), and i wish to contribute a little. i will still write female reader!
no explicit nsfw. i am uncomfortable with it.
no pregnancy or children related asks. it's just not something i personally want to write.
however, anything regarding Frisk, Chara, and/or other fallen humans is okay.
if you have any questions about these rules or want to request something but don't know whether it'll break my guidelines, just send an ask! i'm not going to shame you or anything and that way we can negotiate if it's something i feel i could write if it were a little different!
