Butterflies P1 (Wednesday Addams X Fem reader)

It’s your first day at Nevermore, and you happen to have a very strange encounter with Wednesday Addams.

“Welcome to Nevermore miss Y/l/n.” Weems spoke.

You turned around to see Enid Sinclair walk into the room.

She noticed you, smiling warmly.

“Ah, Enid,” Weems spoke, “Y/n, this is Enid Sinclair, she will be giving you the never more welcome.”

You nodded, turning to face Enid.

“Howdy newbie!” Enid squeaked, a wide grin plastered over her face.

She stepped forwards holding her arms out, offering a hug.

You stepped back from her.

“Not a hugger, got it.”

“Enid, will you take Y/n to her dorm?” Weems asked.

“Of course!” Enid snapped around, leading you out.

You followed her to your dorm.

“Here you go!” Enid grinned again.

You looked around the room.

Half of the room was entirely empty, and the other was dark, mostly empty, a typewriter on the desk.

“Thank you.” You bowed your head to Enid.

Enid did the same, waving as she skipped out of the room.

The door swung close behind her, slamming.

You headed over to the empty side of the room, that only had a bed and a desk.

Picking up your suitcase you dumped it onto the bed.

As you unzipped it your attention was caught by the sound of footsteps.

You looked over to see someone walk in.

Wednesday Addams.

She closed the door behind herself, then stopped, standing still as she noticed you.

She looked you up and down.

You just gave her a small smile, then continued to sort through your suitcase.

Wednesday headed over to her side of her room, she didn’t say anything.

The room was pretty much entirely quiet besides the sound of footsteps as Wednesday walked, and the floorboards creaking.

Y/n picked up her pile of folded clothes, and opened one of the drawers on the dresser, dumping the pile inside.

“I assume you will be sharing the dorm.”

You turned around to see Wednesday standing in the middle of the room, observing you.

You gave a nod.

“Y/n Y/l/n, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”

You walked over holding out your hand.

Wednesday looked down at your hand, then remade eye contact.

“Wednesday Addams, two d’s in Addams.”

“Got it.”

You lowered your arm, seeing she wasn’t going to shake your hand.

Being someone who disliked physical contact you understood, and didn’t complain.

Wednesday bowed her head, before she headed out of the dorm.

You exhaled, continuing to unpack your belongings.
