Every bite of these scones contains the perfect balance of white chocolate sweetness and aromatic cardamom. A treat that is both comforting and luxurious.
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 tablespoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed. 1/2 cup white chocolate chips. 2/3 cup heavy cream. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Set the oven to 425F 220C and heat it up. Put parchment paper on the bottom of a baking sheet. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cardamom in a large bowl with a whisk. Mix the cold butter cubes into the dry ingredients. You can use your fingers or a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the flour mixture until it looks like big crumbs. Add the white chocolate chips and mix them in. Add the heavy cream and vanilla extract to a different bowl and mix them together. Add the cream mixture to the dry ingredients and mix them together slowly until they are just mixed. Don't mix the dough too much; it should be a little crumbly. Spread the dough out on a surface that has been lightly floured. A few light kneads should be enough to bring the dough together. Make a circle out of the dough that is about 1 inch 2.5 cm thick. Cut the dough into scones with a sharp knife or a biscuit cutter. Put the scones on the baking sheet that has been prepared. The scones should be baked for 12 to 15 minutes, or until they turn golden brown. Let them cool a bit on a wire rack after taking them out of the oven. Warm up the scones and serve them with your favorite hot drink. Enjoy these tasty scones with white chocolate and cardamom!
