“What’s under your sleeve?” [ cuz I kinda miss these two ;) ]

Before the two had the falling out Boden respected Lola and even had a tad bit of a crush. At one point he’d been drinking and shooting the shit with some fellow hunters when one of them boasted about bagging Lola. Boden knew without a doubt the man was lying and just attempting to impress the others and immediately called him out on it. The exchange became rather heated quickly both men standing posed to fight before broken up by friends. In the end, after several beers, the man admitted he lied and Boden did his best to shake it off.

Sitting at the counter he smirked at the question. The stranger was kind enough to let him dither on with excitement about the baby that was on the way for several minutes. Boden was on cloud nine and the happy news just flowed from him. Taking down a gulp of water he sat on the question for a bit as the smile faded a tad, “I’ve wanted a family for so long–I guess I just want a healthy child. I’ll happily take any gender I just want them to be healthy.” Rather it is boy or girl didn’t matter he just wanted to have the chance to meet and raise the little one.
