Trying to be subtle with the gold, but I have to blend the pedals in. So far it's just the pedals and cable end caps on the brakes and derailleurs. Next I'm thinking bar ends. Maybe even a headset cap?

Her foot is hurt so she can’t ride right now, but she can still drive tacks with her toy.

This week I was more concerned with rotational weight than buying food. Bling! These are for the road bike. Now I have to decide whether to let them stand, or start buying gold stuff like a chain and skewers. When I get home I'll throw them on and have a look.

I had to solve a growing storage problem yesterday. Two of everything stacks up quick. Dark blue very tough deck paint to go on next weekend.

My fiance twisted her ankle and couldnt ride, so i went alone. I rode down off the mountain, looped through the foothills and then around to the bottom of the mountain again, where I was rescued. One day I’ll be able to do this ride for real and climb back up, but not today. Still, 80 solo miles with 2,400 feet of climbing is better than nothing.

Tomorrow we ride.

The house is clean. The shopping is done. No work until Tuesday (barring an emergency of some kind). My bike is clean and my chain is lubed. I'm charging my GoPro. So ready.

Can I get in on this? I think I would get ridiculous with my bike choices. Right now I keep it simple, one road bike, one mountain bike and one old steel beater beer getting bike I never ride. But if I had the budget, I would go nuts. Like "this is my Tuesday afternoon single speed steel road bike with a belt drive that I ride to get coffee, not to be confused with my other single speed road bikes that I use to do other stuff" crazy. I may be able to keep it to one big room if I had those two level bike shop racks.

I'm down with a cold, so I'll only be wishing I could ride this weekend. Right now it looks like Titanfall and maybe some time behind my air rifle if I'm better Sunday.

I love living here, but my legs aren’t ready for all the climbing!

Went out for my first bigger ride on my new bike. I was/am an avid mountain biker but had burned out on it and have not been riding at all. I live in the mountains so I did some short rides with big climbs to try and wake my legs up, and yesterday I did 60 miles. In the picture of my legs I am blown up, and had to rest a couple minutes. I can't wait to be stronger.

My new Fred Sled!!!! So stoked. Full Ultegra, I have waited a long time for this bike. Just UNDER 17 lbs. at the shop before the pedals. All I have are mountain bike shoes so we are just going to have to deal with the Egg Beaters and hairy legs. She can cliiiiimb.

In order to be more active on here, I have to open this blog up a bit. When I am not obsessing over archery, I am obsessing over cycling, a little surfing, and other stuff. Sorry to the purists, but at least almost everything I post is mine so I won't flood you with stuff.
