Ok so confession time: I had a self-insert DBZ fanfiction where DBZ actually happened but like 300 years ago and the other main characters were the ancestors of Yamcha, Krillin, and Bulma. I was, of course, descended from the Son family.

I attempted to link every chapter to lyrics of a Linkin Park song.

My self-insert DBZ canon has the show proper taking place way in the future, and Buu's massacre right around now. Nishi no Kaioshin manages to escape and fuse with a 'ningen' (no points for guessing who) to survive.

This quickly became said self-insert bouncing from universe to universe as a way to pass time until DBZ.

OK, y'all, listen. I’m just as pissed as you are about HB2 in North Carolina and HERO in Houston, but it’s only just beginning. The Illinois House has a bill (4474 introduced in response to this shameful story) that does the exact same god damn thing. This is not an isolated incident and I’m willing to bet that if you live in the United States, your state has at least one legislator who has or is ready to introduce one of these hate bills. It’s not an accident. It’s part of a strategy to eradicate trans people from existence. Read this article and understand that people like me are under attack.

I’m especially talking to my cis queer friends. For decades, trans people have been getting killed and abused while we continued to fight for your right to get married, all the while hearing from you how you’d come back for us once your rights were secured. Now it’s time to put up or shut up.

If you know me, you know at least one trans person. When you hear your fellow cis friends and family talking about trans people as if we’re inhuman, predators or deviants, speak up. Tell them that someone you love is trans. Tell them that trans people are in more danger in bathrooms from cis people than cis people will ever be in danger from trans people. Trans people don’t sexually assault cis people in bathrooms and locker rooms.

Our very existence and presence IS NOT AN ASSAULT. We’re under constant threat, especially trans women of color, who receive almost all of the anti-LGBTQIA violence, and what few protections we do have are under attack all over the country.

It’s still illegal to physically or sexually assault anyone, even in a bathroom, regardless of the trans or cis status of the assailant or victim. These laws do nothing but paint targets on our backs and encourage people to seek us out.

Trans suicide is on the rise and last year was the deadliest in the United States for trans people, almost all of the victims were trans women of color. These bills only prove to us that this culture wants us dead or, better yet, to never exist at all.
