Citra is REALLY bad at meowing. She sounds like a broken party favor when she remembers to actually meow.
OH MY GOD
Being an orange female kitty is already rare, but you had to go adopt the one in a million who can’t cat properly
She came in a two pack so I had to.
Simcoe (left) and Citra (right), both girls. Both rescues. Both biological litter mates (sisters). Both long term loving projects to teach human trust to.
Simcoe got 100% of the meowing capabilities.
WAIT! WAIT!! So, are you telling me that actual, normal meow was the sister? Who, seemingly, just meowed at the moment because she saw her sister struggling so she tried to help by giving her an example???
THAT was actually Seymour. Who does also love Citra, but wasn’t really helping. He’s just very vocal because he’s an exclamation mark in a cat’s body.
“I’m in the process of trying to restore my life to normalcy after it fell apart when I became homeless. I especially owe a lot to the people who helped me when I was struggling, like one of my friends from the military. When I told him the situation that I was in, he introduced me to the pastor at his church. On the first day that I met the pastor, he asked me to come see him separately at a cafe and gave me some money, telling me to sleep at a sauna instead of out on the street. He bought me some gukbap too, and one day he gave me another 100,000 won and told me to support myself with that for the time being.” “What was the most memorable way in which he helped you?” “One day, the pastor told me that even if others help me, there is no point if I don’t try to pull my own self together. If he hadn’t told me that, I still wouldn’t have been able to come to my senses. Thanks to him, I was able to put my life of homelessness behind me, and I start working next Monday at a call center. I was so busy with the interview that I forgot to give him a call. I need to hurry up and get paid so I can pay him back, and now I should be the one to buy him some gukbap.”

As many of you watched or listened to the Berry College Vikings football team play Centre College last Saturday, you learned that one of our players, Justus Edwards, was injured during play. Justus, a sophomore from Alabama, is being evaluated for injuries sustained, having surgery, and going thr...
If you have the means to donate (anything helps), please do. This is a very dear friend of mine who sustained a very serious injury this Saturday during a football game. If you cannot donate, prayers and re-blogging this post are also great ways to help out!
The Lord will fight for you, you only need to be still
Exodus 14:14
We don’t always know why God does the things that He does, but it’s important to remember that He does them for a reason. Recently, one of the most important people in my life sustained a serious injury, one that has the potential to change his life forever. BUT, he has the option to choose how this process and his recovery changes his life (and the lives of others). He could simply ignore the miracles God performs for us, question God, and wallow in sadness and self pity. OR he can pray to God and thank Him for healing him, and he can use this as a wonderful way to reach others and show them how beautifully God works. Remember that you, and those surrounding you speak truth. And remember that happiness is a choice that we make.
Throughout this time, there have been hundreds of people sending hundreds of prayers up for this very special person. He’s been receiving good news, and he chose to be happy and trust in God. His confidence and trust in the Lord is greater than any I’ve ever seen. He will fully recover, and he is already using this experience as a way to touch those around him, and reach out to potential believers. He is wonderful, and he is loved. Praise God.
Never forget to be aware.
“God is always seeking you. Every sunset, every clear blue sky, every ocean wave, the starry host of the night. He blankets each day with the invitation “I am here.”

You will never look into the eyes of someone God does not love. Always be kind.

This is a beautiful thing to remind yourself of throughout your day/week. We all struggle with loving others, but it is a virtue of utmost importance. Some of you may be thinking this thought right about now: “I’m a kind and loving person, everyone around me says so.” However, I challenge you to take a moment and think of the people you surround yourself with. Do you find it difficult, at times, to love your friends and family, those who are closest to you? If you said no, let’s take it further. Do you sometimes struggle to love your peers, your teachers, or your coaches? If not, let’s continue. Have you always felt (and demonstrated) love towards the bullies? What about the homeless, the addicted, or those with strongly opposing political views? By this point, you understand, that we aren’t perfect, but we were created in the image of someone who is. We must always remind ourselves to show love to everyone. (Even when it seems impossible.) If we can respond to even the most difficult people/situations with love, we can inspire others. By doing our absolute best to live by the example Jesus gave us, we can help lead our brothers and sisters to their savior.
@delightministries is a college women’s ministry, whose mission is “to invite college women into a Christ-centered community that fosters vulnerability and transforms stories.”
I am part of the Berry College chapter of Delight and I absolutely love it. Each week we read the story, devotion, and supporting verses in our book (pictured) independently, and we come together on Tuesdays to discuss what we read. It gives us all an opportunity to share our stories, and receive support from a close group of peers that we trust. I highly encourage you to search for them on your campus, follow them and read their devotionals on your own, or reach out to me to learn more!
God made you in HIS image. Stop trying to reflect someone else's.

We’ve ALL been guilty of this. Whether it be a particular physique/appearance we want, an outfit, a personality, or a career. BUT, we must all remind ourselves (and each other) that we were created in the image of God. We are all wonderful and unique in our OWN way. I think you’ll find that when you make the decision to be happy with just being you, and you make an effort to pursue (or start your journey with) God, things WILL start looking up!
Hey y’all, welcome to my blog! This is something I’ve felt called to do for a while now, but I’ve been putting it off. I’ve put it off because “I’m busy”, and “I don’t know where to start” among other things. However, there is no more room for excuses, I am ready to begin this journey! I’ll be posting content on a variety of topics; primarily fitness, fashion, and faith. I’ll list examples of each below:
•Fitness: healthy lifestyle tips, workouts, information on types of exercise, nutrition, etc.
•Fashion: #ootd, varying styles, outfits based on body type, where to shop, etc.
•Faith: short bible study guides, “standout” verses, prayer guides, etc.
As I am new to this, I’ll be growing with y’all and I promise to continue to improve. I’m open to any topics you wanna cover, questions you want answered, or any other ideas!
Love Always, Jo
