Not Cut Out for a Flowerscout

Nikki's mother Candy had just dropped Nikki off Flowerscouts while she was busy talking with Miss Priss, the green haired girl felt uncomfortable with the girl scout uniform she didn't feel free or dirty, instead she felt clean and well groomed almost like a pet at the pet shop, "I'm sure Nicolette will be a great fit for Your Camp Penelope Priss!" behind that fake smile Miss Priss gave told Nikki she was going to see right through her.
"Of course I know who's Flowerscout material and I know who's a disappointment" the older garden mother said that loud and clear for the younger to hear it felt awful hearing those words.
"Well Bye Nicolette don't go pulling people's hair and throwing wasps nests or karate chopping these nice girls, they must have money to look good so you must look good just like them we have cash just like them" said her mother that was a lie and Nikki knew it her family had been middle class since dad left them otherwise they would've been the next bill gates or something. "Are you at least coming in for orientation? The parents have to be there you know..what if somebody teases me?" The green haired Flowerscout felt fear and tears in her eyes. "Nicolette, you're stronger don't act like that and don't slouch either I know you will have a blast here I promise, another empty promise as usual think of it as me coming to see your Pagent recitals" which of course she wasn't there for.
"But I'm not fancy or prim, proper even a daisy could be better than m-" Open your petals and close your mouths, Flowerscout orientation is about to begin" Miss Priss repiled. "Our Flowerscout Leader Sasha will now speak" "That's you kiddo now go on out there!" Candy pushed Nikki out there it was more of a quick shove and everyone was staring at her she felt uncomfortable when the attention from all the pretty proper girls looking at her She could see Miss Priss 's yellow eyes glaze and her smile quickly turned into a frown.
"How incompetent and disgraceful, What do you have to say for yourself Nicolette?' the older woman had her hands on her hips while laughter surrounded the room along with Sasha "Oh my god what a loser!" Said a blue haired flowerscout. "You probably smell like moth balls!" called out a orange bun haired girl. Nikki didn't want to say anything her face felt hot on fire.
"Well Hurry up Miss Nicolette you've wasted precious flowerscout orientation time" Miss Priss says she was already getting tired of the green haired girl as Nikki took her seat next to Erin and Tabii.
Nikki tried her best to listen but she had scratched hair like a dog when it has worms. "Ewww keep your fleas somewhere else weirdo!'" the blue braided Flowerscout repiled. "Yeah Nicolette keep your dog germs somewhere else" the blonde bun girl crossed her arms.
"Well I'm sorry I got a itch" the teal haired girl responded as many shushes were heard. "Okay Ladies I am Sasha your Flowerscout Leader, and yes you're aware we have a new-comer Nicolette and her mom Candice?" The ginger says with fake enthusiasm. "I'm also here with my mom too and like after orientation there's activities and mom's please leave at the door over there, Thank you and also snacks will be provided in like the snack barrrr" as she finished "Thank You Sasha that was so beautiful!" Miss Priss smiled cheering for her while Erin, Tabii, and Lakelynn, Melody. and other Flowerscouts were clapping for her.
Nikki also clapped maybe Sasha could be her friend? She seemed so nice so she thought after the orientation Candy began to leave but her green haired child stopped her. "Wasn't that pink haired girl nice? She gave such a nice speech" the woman grins.
"Yeah uh about that do you have my worms I need them and dirt when I get nervous" Nikki says looking away. "No but you'll be fine Nicolette I'll see you next summer!" As she waves goodbye, and off already to find a new boyfriend as usual.
The green haired girl Flowerscout walked up to Sasha as everyone was going to activities. As the ginger haired girl turned her head around once she felt a tap "Oh you must be Nicolette? What a klutz you are" Sasha sneered. "You've must've been a poor child I can see a middle class person when I see one poor little miserable Nicolette" she had a sarcastic sassy manner. Nikki was wrong, Sasha was not nice she was evil.
When Nikki sat at the activity bar, The ginger pre-teen had acted like nothing had happened and offered her Nikki to sit next to her and Erin, Tabii "Okay so this is Erin, and Tabii with two eyes" the ginger haired girl introduced her best friends. "We're making charm bracelets, I hope you can make one if you're not too idiotic" Sasha says. The nerve of her! Nikki thought
But nether the less the green haired girl was making charm bracelets but she decided to go with a different route she was making a charm bracelet sling shot as she shot Erin with it "Ow! What the fuck That's not how you do charm bracelets!" The blue haired girl held her head.
"Oh my fucking god, You're IMPOSSIBLE" Sasha facepalms "I don't know let's give her some chances if she blows it she will never be Flowerscout material. Erin still in pain from the sling shot.
"Don't mess this up Nikkii or you'll be kissing the Flowerscout grounds goodbye" Tabii commented in such a snarky manner.
"Next, We have to perfect posture any low-class can master this" The ginger haired girl showed a perfect example of her walking in a great posture. While she had books on her head "Now you're go Nicolette" She says.
Nikki thought it looked like fun so she balanced the rope on perfectly but jumped like a cat. "It's like I'm a Cat Sasha!" She responded and then pretended to cough up a hairball must to their disgust.
"You are disgusting and plus you failed!" Sasha complained "You're probably hopeless at this point!"
"Now manners, you must know how to say please or excuse me or talk you, or holding your fork properly, there's also different types of forks and spoons too to learn". The green haired girl didn't know it was so many rules to proper etiquette. So she did the best she could but ended up messing up by eating a steak with her hands and belching the ABC's.
"Nicolette, That is Totally Nasty! Us Flowerscouts do NOT do that at all and plus are you a fucking neanderthal? We don't EAT with our hands" she criticized her.
Nikki felt totally hopeless, maybe she has 2 or 3 more chances but ended up losing every time when they were gardening Nikki rolled around in dirt. When they were practicing baking she had wrestled half the Flowerscouts and threw dough at them.
Whenever the Flowerscouts drew something Nikki drew like her attacking a bear with blood, and finally when they went outside to pick flowers Nikki found bugs and started playing with them.
Which made Sasha's face turn from pink to crimson red "Get the fuck out and never come back! You will never be Flowerscout material! In fact I think I have something for you!" She put nasty poor girl on her posted notes on her back some girls even cut some pieces of her hair.
And Others had called her names taking turns, dumping trash on her and where was Miss Priss? Probably knocked out drinking wine.
Nikki felt so awful her stomach churned from this and ran from the Flowerscouts. She didn't want to talk about her experience there anymore she ran but also fell to her knees which it bled and finding a nearby bench.
Once She was sitting by a nearby area, the bench where Her mother probably was there when Candy arrived she had ignored Nikki's feelings. "Nicolette! Don't you know you're supposed to be at Flowerscouts right now? You're all dirty too! I spent half my money on those girly scouts!" Nikki sniffled "Mom I don't want to do Flowerscouts anymore I want to do a different camp this year"
Candy gritted her teeth "Fine, I'm only this once but after this we're not switching anymore camps because you feel scared or lonely you gotta toughen up Nicolette"
Nikki had a grabbed a guide it said Camp Campbell, There was a lot of camps but the one stuck out the most was Adventure Camp Mom mom can we do adventure camp?" The wild child was certainly exicited.
"well I mean the guy hosting it sounds handsome of course Nicolette" she wasn't doing it for Nikki just for the hot guy her mother could have.
"But First we need to get you out of that outfit, as Candy picked up her child and taking her to the thrift store getting her red overalls and already having her socks and teal shoes but they were scuffy once candy paid.
Candy had put the signature yellow camp Campbell shirt on Nikki, and red overalls on. And Nikki put bandages on her cheeks and knees so nobody knows she fell down and undid her braids for Flowerscouts and did fun loose pigtails, and undid her makeup too.
Nikki had a quiet moment to herself in the car, they were going to sign up for camp Campbell and let out some quiet sobering tears so her mom wouldn't hear her.
She hated that dreadful sign Flowerscouts, Sasha, Erin, Tabii she wishes she could all spray them with water and throw mud at them and worms would come out but sadly she couldn't she wasn't allowed anymore on the grounds.
Maybe they're right She wasn't cut out to a Flowerscout perhaps maybe a Camp Campbell Camper but definitely not those mean prissy rich girls.
And She wasn't going to be called Nicolette anymore, she was going to be named Nikki instead.
