Five vehicle collision with one on fire on the A338 Wessex Way at Westbourne. Best to avoid the area. Road is currently closed as a result.

The A338 is closed southbound from Ashley Heath to Hurn for the recovery of a coach which is stuck in a ditch. Road expected to be closed till around 2300 hrs. No passengers were on board and the driver has just minor injuries

The A31 is currently close both ways from Ameysford roundabout and Canford bottom roundabout due to an Road traffic collision.

If you are heading towards West Dorset, the A35 west of Dorchester is closed in both directions due to a road traffic collision. Emergency services are on the scene near Long Bredy Hut Lane

Hurn

The current A338 northbound on-slip road at Blackwater West is now closed pending a revised road layout and new slip road opening this weekend.

Temporary three-way traffic lights will be in operation for lane closures over five nights this week, from today, Monday 24 February up to and including Friday 28 February from 8pm until 6am.

Throughout these works the northbound on slip to the A338 from the B3073 will be closed, with single lane traffic running through the junction.

During these closures surfacing works will take place to create the new A338 on-slip northbound and a revised junction layout.

Roadworks continue on the B3073 at Hurn causing short delays around the Blackwater junction from the Airport to the A338

Ferndown - reports coming in that the traffic lights at Ferndown Industrial Estate (Cobham Road) are stuck on red. Engineers investigating. As a result, long delays back on Wimborne Road East westbound.

Queuing traffic for around 2 miles on the A31 eastbound between Ringwood and Stoney Cross after an incident at Rufus Stone. Emergency services are on the scene and delays are expected till around 4pm.

There's a broken down lorry on the A31 at Ringwood, eastbound, resulting in one lane being closed. Expect delays whilst it is recovered.
