y'know i have to admit, although i can totally get behind some mischaracterization in background characters for the sake of the plot SOMETIMES, one of the main things that's always turned me away from those irondad-spiderson midtown high field trip to stark industries fics is the demonization of mr harrington. there are two total adults in mcu peter parker's life who have NEVER done him wrong... and that's may parker and roger harrington. (happy is a close third but homecoming exists so he's out, and i love irondad but i can't even kid myself acting like tony never wronged peter)

mr harrington is such a silly, sweet guy. and after seeing no way home, why not just make it so coach wilson is the shitty teacher if you need one? since he was the one that accused peter of lying and being a murderer, and also encouraged bullying towards him in that deleted scene where the class makes him climb the wall in gym class just to gawk at him and call him a freak? i know he's not involved with the decathlon team but it's not that far fetched for him to be a chaperone, he handles detention and all that. leave mr harrington and mr dell out of it 💔💔💔💔

i think kirk deserves a lot more credit for keeping a cool head based on some of the nonsense he had to deal with throughout the original

like fuckkkk i sent my men on a routine mission to an uninhabited planet and the fucking wizard got them. yeah he lives in a haunted castle and his shapeshifting cat friend brainwashed them into doing her bidding. yeah i fucked the cat lady to figure out the source of their power and then when i destroyed it they turned out to be some sort of blue chicken maybe???? god damnit dude i better not get sent into another evil dimension or the past or some other bullshit again when i get back
