I heard a great thought from Dave Ramsey’s EntreLeadership podcast about doing work on yourself before succeeding in business in episode 141. I have definitely found this to be helpful for me. That’s why I start my morning with 30 minutes of drawing, exercise and a devotional - a bible study.

Reading the passage from Galatians 2:19-21 it talks about how you should be God’s man and not a law man. Being a “law man” means you kinda only look out for yourself and focus on your ego - God is asking us to focus on our self which includes keeping others interests in mind. Steven Pressfield in the book the War of Art has a simple and great illustration of this.
