Yesterday my 20 year old cat Batman lost his battle with cancer. We had him literally his entire life as his mother was a stray that gave birth to him in a closet in our old house. He was a very well dressed boy whose favorite pastime was complaining, sitting in your lap and staring at you, and complaining while sitting in your lap and staring at you.

He was also 7 1/2 potatoes tall.

Truly a one of a kind cat.

In honor of him, I'd like to see your funny/cute pet pictures. They can be your current pets or ones who have passed on. And any type of pet is fine, I don't have any phobias for spiders or anything so you can share your creepy crawlies as well. Feel free to share stories about them too as long as they aren't too sad.

Also, if you send pics with them being measured against something absurd/more potatoes (and so long as you aren't putting them in any distress to do so), then you will receive an appreciative nod and thumbs up from me.

Franky actually comes before Anya

Just a thought.

All along we assume that Twilight has Franky babysit Anya because he trusts Franky with her, right?

Not wrong, but here's another angle to this.

In the first chapter/episode, Twilight barricades Anya in the apartment when he goes to see Franky.

He also doesn't bat an eye when Franky reveals he did a background check on the supposed six-year-old kid.

But once he decides to keep Anya, he has Franky come to the Forger apartment twice.

After that, once Anya's admission into Eden is confirmed (thus cementing Yor's role as the Forger mama), Franky invites himself in and introduces himself to Yor, becoming the very first official Forger family guest.

Sounds crazy, but the sequence of events suggests it's Franky who comes first - Twilight only lets the people he trusts to some extent meet Franky.

Mine was on. Turned it off. Just want to say, I am so... so tired of this. As someone who watched the rise of the home computer and even talked with ai in 6th grade in my computer class, I had no idea one day corporations were going to try this hard to get into our minds (through our devices we use every day). I can't imagine how it is for younger generations who never got to have as much freedom as I experienced in those early years of modern technology. I recently bought a simple, no internet mp3 player and plan on buying a simple digital camera as well. Hell, at this point I've seriously considered getting a damn typewriter, but I fear I would not use it and thus waste money and space. Point is, I am tired, and I'm sure this is going to be an endless game. Maybe we can't win, but as long as I'm able to toggle off, I will.

I feel that once I started to notice, I simply couldn't un-see how surprisingly distant Twilight is with WISE.

He is professional and taciturn and interacts little with other agents on the job, even post mission. While he does protest and banter a little with that one senior agent and Handler, he doesn't talk much to most agents beyond what is needed for the mission and often seems eager to leave when things are done.

Also, despite their mentor-mentee history, Twilight and Nightfall are hardly close and don't know each other that well. Everything Nightfall knows about Twilight beyond the spy are just what she can observe and infer about him. Thus she is thrown for a loop when she sees a new behaviour.

Twilight himself cannot tell what she is thinking and is often way off in his assumptions.

There are, of course, justifications for this.

WISE is on enemy territory. The pressure is on. Handler herself is working under surveillance by the SSS. It is policy for agents not providing operational support to stay out of contact. No time or peace of mind to mingle.

Still, such an environment does sound rather lonely.

Then again, Twilight himself… does not actually appear all that sociable. Understandable, given his life experiences, unending exhaustion and all the socialising he already has to do for his covers. Plus, he has lost comrades. He probably also does not want to get too close to the other agents.

Are there RE fans who are genuinely mad that Lady Dimitrescu is a lesbian?? What... I thought it was obvious. She's literally a maneater. She hates men. Her and her daughters call Ethan a "man-thing".

All these men lusting after lady d would be impaled and eaten if they met her irl, and NOT in the sexy fun kinda way. It would not be enjoyable.
