today marks the first day i met you. You came in to my store after a night of drinking with friends looking for relief. I helped you out. i remember catching you stare at me, i asked you what was wrong, and you replied ‘i’m glad i’m not drunk right now because forgetting your face would have been a shame and a sin’ you made me smile. you made my store your local stop just so you could talk to me. we became friends very quickly, it has been 8 years since we first met and now i am your girlfriend, my best friend, my partner.
