My version of how Mary is totally still alive
Should I make more texting stories? I got quite a good response for my first one...
Wow
Thanks (I think. I'm not sure how this works)

Sherlock: Thank goodness
New Yearâs Eve 2017 will be the only day when every adult was born in the 1900âs, and every minor was born in the 2000âs.
Like, okay look.
I am a panromantic demisexual.
I used to identify as straight and went through six labels before I got my ass here.
Back when I was straight a friend came out to me because she liked me and I told her âI donât feel the same but itâs cool Weâre still friends.â
She was floored. Like it really seemed to mess with her that I didnât hate her. I told her âLiterally nothing has changed. Youâre still the same person, youâre just not the sexuality I thought you were.â
And you know, I could have fucked that up. I could have told her that she was terrible. I could have told her she was âjust pretending to be gay for attentionâ. I could have told her a LOT of stupid shit. But I didnât because to me none of that shit was true. She said she was bi? She was bi. Full stop.
I grew up in a conservative household with people that âdonât support my lifestyleâ these days. But guess what? If my stupid little conservative teen ass could grasp that idea that âmy friend is coming out to me, they are trusting me with this, they are probably going through some major emotional shit with thisâ and do the right god damn thing then you fucking LGBT teeny boppers can get YOUR heads out of your asses and do the same for queer folks and fringe LGBT folks.Â
When one of my friends said she was ace for the first time my first thought was that people like that must be broken. I didnât say that. I thought it. And at this point I was definitely queer. But you know what I did instead of running my mouth like a damn fool and upsetting her? I trotted MY happy little ass over to the internet and looked up everything I could on it and realized my first impression was shitty. Lo and behold, now, years later, I realized Iâm on the ace spectrum with her.
Educate yourselves. Donât be dicks. Stop acting the way you say all straight people act. Get your shit together. Be NICE to people. Treat someone telling your their sexuality, gender, or romantic identity the same way youâd want someone to treat you. And learn about it.Â

Sherlock Holmes loves Molly Hooper
&
Molly Hooper loves Sherlock Holmes.
I want brownies. Reblog if you want brownies too.
Molly: Thatâs ridiculous, Sherlock doesnât have a crush on me.
Irene: Yes he does.
Greg: Yes he does.
Mary: Yes he does.
Sherlock: Yes, I do.
Different ways in which Sherlock Holmes looks at Molly Hooper.
Sherlolly forever.
Debt of Honor ch 5 is up!!!
Itâs canon. It has been for almost 130 years.
Hey guys! Do you know why there are exactly two Sherlockâs âI love youâ in The Scene ⢠? You think itâs just to make Sherlock say the second âI love youâ properly? No. Not only that.
In fact, many people forget [or donât even know] about the âSherlock Holmesâ, the original play written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and William Gillette. In the very finale of that play there is a scene in which Holmes first tries to convince the main male character that his words and feelings towards her are false. And then, when she says that she perfectly sees his true nature, he confesses that he really loves her. Twice. )))
HOLMES: No.
(ALICE gives a subdued breath of relief)
But it fell in with my plans notwithstanding. Now that you see me in my true light, Miss Faulkner, we have nothing left to say but good night â and good-byeâwhich you ought to be very glad to do. Believe me, I meant no harm to youâit was purely businessâwith me. For that you see I would sacrifice everything. Even my supposedâfriendship for youâwas a pretenseâa shamâeverything that youâ
(She has slowly turned away to the front during his speech. She turns and looks him in the face.)
ALICEÂ (quietly but distinctly): I donât believe it.
(They look at one another.)
HOLMESÂ (after a while): Why not?
ALICE: From the way you speakâfrom the way youâlook âfrom all sorts of things!â(With a very slight smile.)Â Youâre not the only oneâwho can tell thingsâfrom small details.
HOLMESÂ (coming a step closer to her): Your facultyâof observation isâis somewhat remarkable, Miss Faulknerâand your deduction is quite correct! I supposeâindeed I knowâthat I love you. I love you. But I know as well what I amâand what you are â
(ALICE begins to draw nearer to him gradually, but with her face turned front.)
I know that no such person as I should ever dream of being a part of your sweet life! It would be a crime for me to think of such a thing! There is every reason why I should say good-bye and farewell! There is every reasonâ
(ALICE gently places her right hand on HOLMESâ breast, which stops him from continuing speech. He suddenly stops. After an instant he begins slowly to look down into her face. His left arm gradually steals about her. He presses her head close to him and the lights fade away with ALICE resting in HOLMESâ arms, her head on his breast.)Â
So guys, whatever the other shipers think about The Scene ⢠, that feelings are perfectly true and this is canon.
It has been canon since 1889.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh!
BOMBSHELL.
Someone else said it in another reblog, but Doyle didnât write any of the play, it was all Gillette. And the âmarry him, murder himâ line was supposedly written out of frustration after Gillette kept bugging him about what he was putting in the play. So, I mean, if youâre counting all pastiche and apocrypha as canon, sure, fine, itâs canon. But it was never from ACD himself.

And a good general starting point for all the ACD canon info as well as pastiches and other related material:
