In Palestine, it wasn't just the holidays that were canceled…the sense of security was canceled, sleep was canceled, and the feeling that tomorrow might be better was canceled. In the land where peace was born, we now live amidst destruction, counting the days not by holidays, but by the number of nights we have survived. Homes have been demolished, streets reduced to rubble, and souls worn down by fear, hunger, and cold. We carry in our hearts a pain greater than we can bear, yet we still try to stay.
I write these words because silence is no longer an option. My family and I are living in dire circumstances, struggling for the basics: food, medicine, and a safe place to take refuge. We need your help through donations so we can provide food to stave off our hunger, repair our destroyed tent to protect us from the cold, and buy medicine. Please donate to us.
Please, do what you can to help!

Ahmed is a teenager whose family's tent was damaged in the big storm Gaza had recently. It's winter, and they're facing the elements without sufficient shelter.
Please, donate what you can so Ahmed and his family can sleep protected from the cold and the wind and rain, and without hunger pangs keeping them awake!
Every donation, even the smallest, matters. It all adds up, and it shows Ahmed and his family that they're not alone!
