A common theme that love conquers all. This is a interesting case though where Lady Gaga suggest that love can forgive the man who betrayed a major religious figure. Does the cliche still fit with biblical characters? Does Love forgive the crooked?

John Oliver makes a profound point. While Racial tensions may be more noticeably in the United States it is a global issue since Babylon times. Hopefully we can come together as a global community and help each other with overcoming  racial tensions. Such a accomplishment could surpass that of the moon landing or curing small pox

The theme of the poem is to make Jesus appear like an average guy. The problem with this is that his story whether you believe it or not had a huge effect on world history. Making him normal should at least show some effects from that.I think making a normal Jesus is an interesting story device but since the poem just serves to normalizing him for the sake of it seems like an average attack on religion rather than a great poem.

Here is one answer to the meaning of life. To Southpark life is about overcoming obstacles. It is interesting that their Jesus is not all knowing but struggles as well. The question I wonder after reading this quote is “is religion equal to struggles or is it only useful to those who struggle” I personally think it religion can be useful for anytime but I do like how the episode questions the way we perceive it.

Racism has no money limit. Not even people who defy the stereotypes can be free from prejudice. Money and power can not stop racism. Only change in our perceptions and mind sets will lead to a world were people like Kayne can truly feel free.

I find it interesting how this movie really questions what we call racism. In the Jim Crow era it was easy because laws actually abused African Americans. Now a days things like dating a black person to upset your parents is racism but how to judge when that is actually the case? This movie does a good job of showing the spectrum of gray and asking us where we are on this spectrum

Whites should hold Black life precious because they value all life, not from their own perspective of what is life-affirming for Blacks. Progress should flow from an emphatic understanding that all of us posses the right to self-determination within an inter-connected web of relationships.

If we value all life as precious then the false justification we use to discriminate people will be harder to achieve. This will help the growth of understanding and perhaps lead to a society more connected and efficient.

If we as a society value all life as equals then hurting them will be harder to accomplish. Even though we are different if we value each other as precious then false justification for discrimination will diminish. This will help grow relationships between the groups of people in our nation

Black people can't be racist. Prejudice, yes, but not racist. Racism describes a system of disadvantage based on race. Black people can't be racist since we don't stand to benefit from such a system.
