New spin on and old "mom" classic lunch... Prep:(with kids up my butt) 5 min Cook Time:12 min ------------------------------ You will need: 4 chicken hot dogs 2 packs of chicken ramen noodles Onion Powder Ground Ginger Powder A few tbs. of olive oil Aprox 6-8 cups of water ------------------------------ Cut chicken hot dogs in half length ways and then cut in about eight sections. While the skillet warms for them, on med-low set your water on the stove to get it heating up for the noodles. When your skillet is ready drizzle in your olive oil, swish around, toss in hot dogs. After they've started to toast a little stir then around and shake a little onion powder across them and a generous portion of the ginger powder (by generous, I mean don't be afraid of it!!) stir occasionally until most of the seasonings aren't readily visible. By now your water should be almost boiling... (Char hotdogs to desired level and set aside.) Put the seasoning in the water first, let it dissolve, then add your noodles. Cook then until done and drain off as much of the broth as you can without the sink eating all your noodles. Dump in hot dogs and stir until thoroughly blended, tell your kids (probably for the 20th time) to sit down... Enjoy! That's how I rock a recipe.
