Despite what themonologuecollection said, Saint Joan might not be considered contemporary. I'm not sure what you're auditioning for, but when I was auditioning for universities last year they were split between calling contemporary post-1900 and calling it post-1950. I think you should do the monologue regardless though, as long as its not written in a classical style they'd likely prefer you to do something you love than something that fits perfectly with their definition of contemporary.

Thanks! So I guess classical style would be things like iambic pentameter and verse? Luckily it's a fairly casual audition, so I think I'll take your advice and go ahead and use it.
