Goodbye, friends.

My dearest friends... I really love this fandom. I enjoy the stories of every fan on this site and I really really really appreciated how I was welcomed here. From the very beginning, everyone in this fandom was so nice to me and I am very thankful for that. I wanted every one of you to know, that I really love you guys.

But I am leaving. I am going to delete this blog and probably every other social media account as well. Six years of therapy and I came to the conclusion that I cannot deal with the pressure I put on myself online. I am not made for this kind of communication. At least not in the moment. It destroys me. Critique makes me cry at 2 am on the bathroom floor because I think I am a failure. This is my first step to a healthier mental state.

I am so sorry for the countless stories I started writing and never finished. But this is a step I need to take. I hope you understand.

Cable x Reader

Part 1

A bright sunray hit your face and you opened your eyes slowly. Birds chirped outside and you could hear the daily chaos in the hall. You rolled on your side to get away from the bright sunlight that always ran through your curtains. In the main hall downstairs you knew breakfast was served. Usually, everyone met there before the lectures and even the older ones, like you, met there to think about their daily tasks. You grabbed the blanket and pulled it over your head. You never got breakfast. Usually, because you didn't get up before noon. You wanted to go back to sleep again, as something hit your door. 

"Heeeeey, honeypie!" The wood couldn't really muffle the loud screech. You remembered. Wade, the weird unicorn lover. With a sigh, you hid under your pillow and ignored him. Or you tried to. Because now he was getting louder. After what felt like an eternity a second voice appeared. It was much deeper than Wades and the other man was clearly as annoyed as you. "Wade. Shut. Your. Mouth." The words echoed in the hall and for a moment Wade really was silent. But only for a moment. The next Moment he just opened your door and stomped in. You immediately sat up in bed and pulled the sheets to your neck. But you dropped it out of shock the moment you saw his face. He was covered in scars with a bold head and discolored skin. He must have been a beautiful man before whatever happened to him, you could clearly see that. "He is always so mean! I just wanted to bring you breakfast and he acts like a dick, I am so sorry.", Wade said while waving around a bowl of cereal. Milk spilled everywhere. You closed your eyes and tried not to completely freak out. "Wade, get out of my r-" He entered your room. And your mind just went blank. He was tall, muscular and part of his body was made of metal. He was clearly older than most of the mutants in the mansion but he was clearly the sexiest man you had ever seen. He wore gym shorts and a tank top. Both black. The moment he looked at you, you remembered his name: Cable. Both of you seemed mesmerized by the moment. You just stared at each other's eyes and for a moment his gaze seemed to be the only thing existing in this world. His glimpse was piercing and challenging. It was weird and frightening and you felt sweat rolling down your spine. It was too much, you couldn't handle the pressure of his eyes, so you looked away. As you looked up again you saw a small winning smirk rushing over his face. Before you could think of how you want to handle this situation, Wade defused the moment. He slapped his cheeks with both of his hands before he whispered: "I can nearly taste the sexual tension in here." That woke Cable up and he shook his head before he turned around. You lifted yourself a bit and wanted to make him stay but you stopped yourself in the last second. What would you have done to stop him? Screamed at him to stay by your side? That would have been more than embarrassing. So you just watched him leave your room and while you tried to memorize every inch of Cables butt you completely forgot about Wade. Who was now waving a spoon in front of your face. "This is ground control to (Y/N). You still there? Or caught in a steamy daydream with the sexy retiree?" "Why do you know my name?", you asked while finally looking at him. Why did he even have a spoon? Oh, right. The cereals. "I asked Colossus." You nodded. You stared at each other for about two minutes, before he put the spoon in the bowl he brought. "I am sorry for interrupting. But I wanted to apologize. You know because of yesterday. I was kinda ... hyped. You know finally being an X-Person and everything." Before you could say a word, you saw Negasonic, another mutant, walking by the door casually saying "Trainee" in Wade's directions. "Its okay, I guess." You said with a shrug. "But waking people up by jumping in their room to bring them breakfast is problematic. So..." You waited for him to get the hint. Which he didn't. "What?" "GET OUT." "What about the fruit loops?" "Take them with you." he looked sad. "Okay, you can leave them here but you need to go. I am really grumpy in the morning. And I need like one word I don't like and I throw a knife for something." A big smile appeared on his face as he walked towards your bed and put the bowl and the spoon in your hand. "Aye aye, captain. Got the memo, will not happen again." You cackled as he closed the door. You had to admit that he was indeed funny. You looked down at the soaked cereal. Breakfast was never a thing you really enjoyed but since its here now, you could as well eat it. After the first spoon, you realized, how much you missed fruit loops. The door opened again and Wade's face showed up. "Out of curiosity... Does the "not come in my room"-rule also count for naked Cable? Because if I interpret that whole situation before I am really sure you would appreciate-" He quickly close the door before the bowl of cereal hit the door as you threw it. Fuck cereal.

At first, it had seemed borderline offensive for him to randomly pull you aside and ask, “(Name)? Tell me the truth. Did you take your medication today?” But he’s never a jerk about it and you know he means well.

He’s just making sure you’re okay.
