#this is pretty much absolutely heartbreaking #to see the whole doctor’s character development diluted down #to just ten gifs #You can see how broken Nine was in the beginning #How he didn’t want ANYONE #’Go home’ because I don’t NEED you I don’t NEED ANYBODY #but then he sacrifices himself#and becomes Ten #Ten who needs somebody #Who goes from needing romantic love #to needing familial love #to just needing platonic love #he just NEEDS someone and no one can stay with him #And then to Eleven who is so playful and childish #But you know - you just KNOW - that he’s the most broken of all the Doctors #That he’s the darkest and the coldest and the one least connected with anyone #He’s the one that doesn’t NEED anymore - not in the way Nine and Ten did#He focuses on fun and games because if he focuses on serious issues then he’ll go dark #And you can just tell how much OLDER Matt looks in just TWO YEARS #’It’s time’ because he’s done - done running done caring done everything #He’s giving up. #And you know - if it hadn’t been for the teselecta the Doctor would have willingly died #Not only JUST to save time - but because he was so tired.(via winterinthetardis)
