Absolutely obsessed with this new lady on display in the renovated MET museum's European collection (my photo)

I wanted to know more because THAT FABRIC DETAIL and OMG SHE'S SO PRETTY.
So her husband has a short Wikipedia entry. It looks like she was the heiress to a cloth merchant fortune, and her husband used her money to fund a truly impressive art collection. (Which I think explains both the truly sublime portrait and the wildly technically brilliant fabric seen here )
He left France at the start of the Revolution in 1790 and his art collection (and everything else) was seized.
And then he and Elénore, wait for it, DIVORCE in 1794. He died the next year, she kept trucking for another 30.
WHO WAS THIS WOMAN I WANT TO KNOW MORE.
