Eddie survives the upside down, graduates finally, excited to be free from Hawkins High for good. But then! Max asks him to drive her to school in the fall, at least until she’s able to learn to drive, but she’s still recovering from spring break, some days needing her wheelchair, others her walker, and honestly Eddie’s van has the space to transport both when needed, better than the school bus. So Eddie finds himself driving Max to school every morning and picking her up most afternoons. He blasts his music too loud and screeches into the parking lot, dropping Max by the front and helping her unload before saying “Have a good day, sis! Love you! Don’t forget to fuck shit up! Bye!” Before speeding back out of the parking lot, as Max lovingly flips him off.
