Mike jolts, sitting up quickly in his bed. His hair is messy and his T-shirt has ridden up his torso. He sighs. Another dream of el. He’s been having them for months since she left. The party said they had some too, but not as bad as his.
He dropped his face into his hands and let out another sigh. It’s been harder and harder to sleep. He doesn’t want to close his eyes for fear of having another dream of el. And when he does fall asleep he doesn’t sleep for long. The dreams always wake him up.
This one seemed different. He saw her, as usual. But she wasn’t in Hawkins. He couldn’t really see any significant markers that would show where she was but he heard the sound of rushing water. She was calling for him. Looking at him and waving her arms about. Trying to get his attention.
“Mike! Time to wake up!” Karen yells. Her voice echoing through the halls of the wheeler home.
Mike groans and tosses the blankets off his legs, making an effort to step quietly so he wouldn’t wake the byers’. Their house was almost done, and as much as Mike loved having his best friend near him at all times. He was growing tired of having seven people in one house.
After throwing on whatever clean clothes he found, he walked downstairs, still groggy and tired from his lack of sleep.
“Michael honey! You look awful!” Karen says, a twinge of worry in her voice.
“Gee thanks mom. Just what I needed” Mike says, rubbing his eyes and sitting down next to will at the table.
“Yeah Mike…you doing okay? You really don’t look good” will says, passing him a plate with pancakes and strawberries on it.
Mike nods and mumbles a small “yeah” before taking a bite of his breakfast. A shortcut to avoiding the dreaded conversation about how he slept.
For most of breakfast, Mike stayed quiet. Not in the mood to talk about plans. He wasn’t really doing anything today besides going to work and sitting at the earthquake memorial site.
Once finished. He tied up his shoes and hopped on his bike, riding down to the new RadioShack near the elementary school. As he walked inside, He slid his vest over his head and walked over to the front counter, the shack hadn’t been too busy. Probably due to summer, and the kids across the street aren’t constantly pressed up against the fence gawking at whatever new item they had in stock.
For the rest of the day. Mike tried to forget about the dreams and did his best to do his work. Stocking the shelves, sweeping and mopping the floors, making sure the cash register was ready. For the most part it worked, till Dustin walked in.
“Hey!” Dustin said, giving Mike a small wave. “Woah you look like shit dude. What happened to you”
“Another dream” Mike responds. Rubbing his hands over his face.
“Oh yeah. You really should go to the doctor. There’s probably something neurological going on here” Dustin says, gesturing to mikes exhausted looking face.
“Ha ha very funny” Mike says. Peeking at Dustin through his fingers
Dustin shrugs and starts on a tangent about…something. For the life of him Mike cannot focus. He keeps thinking of that dream. It was so much more vivid than normal
Maybe that meant something

Hiiii! Sorry for the late update and sorry it’s short. I’ve been busy with schoolwork and now I’m sick :( so hopefully I get better soon so I can keep giving y’all updates!
The sky is dark and the air is cold, the wind from the upside down chilling her even more. El rushes away from the entrance and closes the door behind her. Looking outside as Mike is screaming for the illusion. At least the plan worked.
As she starts to tear up she shakes the sight out of her head, wincing from the pain of the power dampener. She runs to the hole in the floor and climbs down the ladder, trying her hardest not to cry.
She knows this had to be done. They wouldn’t be safe with her anymore. As long as she’s alive there will still be people after her. The only choice was to disappear.
As el runs down the tunnel, the power dampener becomes less and less of a problem. Once far enough away from it, she grabs the bag she had stashed before the mission. Opening up the zipper she looks in and recognizes the clothes hiding the cash under them. Quickly changing into a different outfit and throwing the clothes she was wearing in the hole before covering it with dirt. She can’t risk the party knowing she’s still alive. As much as it hurts, she has to leave.
She sits down next to the pile of dirt covering her old clothes, the dirt coats her hands a deep brown and it was probably gonna stain her jeans as well. She looks at the mound and doesn’t allow herself to feel. She doesn’t have time for it. She scoops up the bag and begins her walk through the tunnels, ignoring the lingering feeling of pain in the back of her mind.
The tunnels seem quieter now. No other people down there, no demogorgons to run from. No vecna to kill. No party. The silence is uncomfortable, the only sound being her shoes scuffing against the dirt.
El walks for hours. Luckily having a map of the tunnels showing where she needs to go. She sees up ahead is a dead end, looking at the map and sighing. She looks up to the door on the ceiling and begins the climb up the ladder. As she opens the door she cringes at the cold air that instantly brushes across her face. Ignoring the cold, she throws the bag onto the forest floor, climbing out of the hole and covering the door with leaves and sticks.
She looks around to make sure no one spotted her. Grabbing the bag once she was sure, and running through the forest to the area she was supposed to be. Murray waves and comes up to hug her.
“Hi Murray.” El whispers. Trying not to hug back. She can’t let her emotions get high again.
“Hey kid. You ready?” Murray asks. Letting her go and turning to look at the plane he somehow managed to get. El wasn’t gonna ask how. Honestly she didn’t really care.
El nods and they walk towards the plane. The pilot giving them a nod as they climb into the tiny cabin. She watches as Murray walks up to the cockpit and sits down. Flicking switches and pushing buttons as they prepare for takeoff. El opens the bag and pulls out a couple hundred dollars, handing it to the pilot before he sits next to Murray. The plane roars to life and they slowly roll forward. Gaining speed and eventually lifting off the runway.
Once again, hours pass. Luckily el was able to sleep for most of it before Murray woke her up.
“Hey kid, we’re almost there. About an hour till we land” he says, sitting across from her.
Her eyes slowly open and she turns her head towards the window. Looking down at the green covering the island. She nods and starts to get ready, checking her bag to make sure everything is in there and placing the strap over her shoulder.
Once they land, el and Murray walk out of the plane. She turns around and looks up at him. Thanking him and giving him a hug. Now that she’s far away, she can take her time. Murray wraps his arms around her and tries not to cry.
“We’ll miss you kid. But I promise I won’t say anything” he says. El pulls back and nods before walking away.
As she leaves she hears the plane start up once again, she turns around and watches it fly off, back to Hawkins. How she wished she could’ve been on that plane again. But she knows she can never go back.
It wasn’t a long walk to the cabin. Twenty minutes at most. But somehow it felt like forever. Lost in thought, she follows the trail set for her by the pilot of the plane. It was nice of him to let her live here. He said he never used it and it’s not like it’s going anywhere so might as well.
She enters the cabin, throwing her bag on the ground. The sound of the waterfalls loud and violent. A choked sob escapes her throat and she buries her face in her hands, sliding down the door until she’s sitting on the wood floor. She screams and cries, silently thankful that no one would be around to hear her.
She already missed the party so much. She even missed the fighting, realizing she’d never hear it again. She wanted more than anything to go back. But she knows she can’t.

Hello everyone! Sorry it’s been so long but I hope this multi chapter will make up for it. This was supposed to have more happen in it but it’s already pretty long without it so I’ll add the rest in chapter two! I’m gonna try and update this every week so look out for new chapters!
I need someone to do Simon Riley falling in love with a stripper or something similar, because with a lot of military bases being close to strip clubs they get a lot of business from the military guys
I’m thinking like after soap asking and asking and practically begging him to come with he finally does and when he sees the person up on stage he just stops and stares. From then on he’s a regular at that club and only gets dances from “that one dancer in the butterfly outfit”
So, I can’t believe I’m just now realizing this, but me and my partner are (in my opinion) the irl version of Steve and Eddie. For them, they’re have more of the punk style and listen to that sort of music, going to shows and doing what they want when they want, with no regard for people in power.
For me, I grew up a sheltered kid, tried to fit in to the “norm” in school but when I met them they managed to turn me into someone I’d rather be. No longer the good kid with the shitty grades and shitty friends, now the kid with the best friends I could ever ask for and the best partner in the world. They’re slowly having me listen to their music and go to shows with them and honestly? Couldn’t be any happier.
part six and the final part to "the one who got away"

steve took an hour and a half to get ready, making sure his outfit was clean and tidy, styling his hair and putting on a bit of makeup. he had decided to wear a shirt from a long while ago, a shirt Eddie gave him before he left. it was the Metallica shirt Eddie always wore when he'd go over to steves house, the logo on the front worn and missing a lot of the print. somehow, in the long years that Eddie had been gone, it still smelled like him.
steve put the shirt up to his nose and took a big inhale, reveling in the smell of the love of his life. putting it on, it looked a little small, the cropped bottom barely reaching above his belly button, the sleeves hugging his fit and toned arms. all those years of working out had paid off.
robin sat behind him, practically judging every move, in the way that your best friend would.
"you better text me to let me know if anything happens, good or bad." robin stated sternly, pointing a finger at steve.
"yes Bobbie I will, I doubt anything bad will happen though, I'm sure everything will be fine!" Steve said hopefully
later, as Steve walked into the little dive bar, "the hideout" as the unofficial name, he locked eyes with Eddie, (who was totally checking the door every five minutes to see if Steve had walked in)
"hey! you made it!" Eddie said cheerfully, running up to him and giving him a big hug.
"wouldn't miss this for the world" Steve said softly, embracing Eddie tightly
"come come! sit down!" Eddie said, taking Steve's hand and walking him over to the table Eddie was previously at.
steve waved hello to everyone at the table, sitting down in a rickety old chair that could probably give way at any moment. next to Eddie of course.
they chatted, drank, laughed and overall had a good time, Steve hadn't been out like this in a while, with a bunch of friends and people. he only really went out with robin sometimes, and that was very rare due to them both working.
the end of the night came so quickly, in the blink of an eye it went from 4pm to 11, closing time. they packed up, paid their bill, and all walked out, the gaggle of friends going to their different cars.
"well, I had fun today" Steve said, walking Eddie to the rusty old van.
"me too! I'm- I'm glad you came" Eddie said sheepishly
steve smiled softly and was looking at Eddie when an idea had sprouted
"would you like to sit at the lake for a bit? just us?" he suggested.
eddie nodded enthusiastically, walking with Steve past their cars, through the woods and to the water, the moonlight shining down on them. they took a seat on the ground, resting up against a tree
"I haven't been here in forever" Eddie said, taking a big breath of the crisp air.
"well yeah, on account of you not living in hawkins anymore" Steve said with a laugh
they talked more, about pretty much everything, school, work, friends, life and such, basically just ignoring the main thing they both wanted to talk about, their love lives.
"so uh...you-you seeing anyone at the moment?" Eddie asked softly
"ah...no not right now, been to busy to really meet anyone actually." Steve said embarrassed
"yeah I get that, plus most of the people I went out with were creeps or were just with me because of my popularity." Eddie whispered
"oh... I'm sorry eds" Steve said, the nickname just slipping out on accident. he couldn't help it, it was like they were 17 again, laughing, sitting by the water, holding hands and Steves head on Eddie's shoulder.
they both could feel the familiarity of the situation, it felt like it wasn't too long ago they were both sitting here, making out or just sitting in each other's presence.
steve turned to look at Eddie, who was already admiring his features. they both refused to look away, not wanting to miss an opportunity, Steve saw the way Eddie glanced down at his lips before looking away. he stood up and began to walk over to a large boulder, climbing up and sitting on it. steve smiled and stood up to follow him, choosing not to ruin his good pants and settling in front of Eddie.
standing on two different very wobbly rocks, Steve held onto Eddie by his knees, until Eddie took his hands to help keep him steady. steve looked up at him, the moonlight bouncing off his beautiful brown eyes.
steve made his decision, was it a good one? maybe, maybe not. but he knew he had to do this, he closed the distance between them. pressing his lips against Eddie's, before pulling away and blubbering out an apology. it was short lived though because Eddie grabbed his face and pulled him into another kiss, their lips meeting once more.
eddie sighed softly and deepened the kiss, sliding his hand up from where it was resting on Steves cheek and moving it up to his hair, effectively messing up the 20 minutes of styling Steve had done but he didn't care.
steves legs felt like they were melting, he made a point to keep himself standing so he wouldnt fall on the rocks behind him. he placed his hands on Eddie's thighs, feeling the corse fabric of the black baggy jeans Eddie had worn that night.
they pulled away from each other and sat there for a moment, just looking into each other's eyes before Eddie began to giggle, which turned into both of them laughing and placing their foreheads together.
"God I'm so sorry Steve, I never should have left, I couldnt get you out of my mind for years. it was only when I saw you did photography and filmogrophy that I realized I needed to see you again. even if you didn't want to see me." Eddie said softly, the only sounds around them being the wind and the crash of small waves against the shore of the lake.
"I missed you so much Eddie, so so much" Steve replied, not moving his hands from Eddie's legs.
eddie pulled back and placed his hands on Steves face, looking him in the eye "I promise, this time I wont leave, this time I'll stay for good. even if it means living in this shithole of a town again"
steve laughed and put his hand on Eddie's. "Eddie...I love you" he said softly
eddie, who sat there looking like a deer in headlights for a moment, smiled and kissed Steves forehead. "I love you too" he mumbled "forever"
"forever" Steve replied
neither could believe what just happened in the span of about 5 minutes, but both were unbelievably happy about it. Steve smiled, Eddie was back, and there was no way in hell that he would let him go this time

The days went by fast, too fast for Steve’s liking. They had finally come to the last day of the shoot and they were barely filming today. Like 30 minutes tops.
Nevertheless Steve and Eddie had grown closer. As close as they could with the wall Steve put up after the last time they talked. But Eddie was slowly chipping away at the bricks, forming a small hole that would soon cause the wall to fall down.
“Okay so today we’re filming the last bit right?” Steve asks, wanting to confirm what he was told
“Yep! We only have a little left to film but it’s a mash up of all the backgrounds that we previously filmed.” Eddie says pulling his guitar out of the case.
Steve nods and goes to move the camera to the little “x” that was taped onto the floor, checking everything on the camera to make sure it was all set and ready.
“Okay, ready everyone?” Steve shouts
They all nod and Steve gives a little countdown before he starts recording.
This time though, Steve was actually listening to the lyrics, some of which sounded oddly directed. Like he was meant to be hearing the song.
“Some of me, wants some of you, all the things we couldn’t do. Some of me regrets you, all the things I said I’d do.”
Steve couldn’t help but smile a little, hoping Eddie’s words were for him and him alone. They continued filming, Steve wheeling the camera around to get different angles of the band. But every time, Eddie’s eyes found his way to Steve’s.
A bubbly little feeling began to form in Steve’s chest, loving the way Eddie found his eyes during every shot. He couldn’t stop the warmth from forming in his stomach. Eddie had a way of making Steve melt, and it looks like that hasn’t changed.
Once they finished the shoot, the band cheered and hugged as they celebrated the final filming. Eddie walked up to Steve who was fiddling with the camera, resetting it for the next people who were getting their photos taken by his coworker.
“Hey so, we’re all getting together to celebrate the video and I was wondering if you’d like to join? It’s at a little dive bar we used to go to back in highschool” Eddie says softly, messing with the hem of his shirt.
Steve, taken aback, was silent for a second. Reeling in the fact that eddie invited him even though he had no reason to “are you sure? I don’t want to intrude on you and your friends” he says
“Yes of course! Are you kidding? You just helped us get a big milestone out of the way! It’s only fair that we invite you.” Eddie says cheerfully
Steve smiles and nods “okay…yes I’d love to join!” Steve says, silently thanking whatever higher power helped him score this.
He watched as Eddie gives a thumbs up to his bandmates and they all smile before going back to packing up their stuff.
“I’ll send you the time and address! ” Eddie says happily before going pack up his things.
E- it’s at the hideout near the lake and it’s at 4! See you there!
Steve looks at his phone and smiles until he realizes what time it is. He only has an hour to get ready so he rushes home after saying his goodbyes and starts the process of getting himself dressed up.
He can’t help the excitement that begins to creep up on him. He’s so happy that he feels comfortable enough with Eddie to go out with him, even if it’s a get together with his bandmates.

Steve allowed himself to relax. Pushing his hair back and taking some deep breaths. He was ready to be civil and not freak out over the fact that him and Eddie were on good terms again.
Robin would’ve probably scolded him on how quickly he seemed to forgive him but he paid it no mind. He’s just happy to see Eddie again.
It’s the second day of filming. Today they’re focusing on filming the bass player. Steve has no clue how music making works so he just follows what he’s told.
An hour in, they take a break. Allowing the band and Steve to sit, relax, eat something. Everyone walked to their respective places, the band choosing to sit on the floor instead of going into the break room.
Steve, as always, walked to the staff room. Ignoring the fact that Eddie was burning holes into his back as he walked away.
He walks to the bathroom to rinse his face. He feels oddly warm. Like he’s getting sick or something. Ultimately he decides to ignore it, Hoping it’ll go away. He’s in the middle of splashing cool water on his face when he hears a knock at the door
“Steve? You in there?”
Shit it’s Eddie, why is he panicking? He shouldn’t be panicking. But he is. He’s in the bathroom, wet face, messy hair and bright red cheeks.
“Just-just a second!” He shouts quickly, he really needs to calm himself down.
He takes some deep breaths and pats his face dry with a paper towel. Deciding to think about his mini panic attack later. He opens the door and gives Eddie a wide smile
“Hey! What’s up?” He asks
“Uh-just need to piss man.” Eddie says, confused
“Oh yeah, right, duh. Cause this is the bathroom…and you’re a human.” He stutters. Oh my god this is embarrassing please shut up Steve
“Yep so…I’ll just squeeze beside you” Eddie says laughing.
Steve feels utterly humiliated. He hasn’t stumbled over his words that badly since before he became “the king” of Hawkins high.
The door closes behind Eddie and Steve puts his face in his hands. Shielding his embarrassment from whoever may see. He groans softly and rubs his eyes a little. Accepting the fact that he pretty much just blocked a man from going to the bathroom.
He walks towards the staff room and sits down at the little table inside. He scarfs down his lunch and chugs his water to make this break nice and quick.
Theyve got a long week ahead of them.

Okay this one’s a bit shorter because I’m exhausted and need to go to sleep as it’s almost 2am. But I promise the next one will be longer.

Steve went home that night. As much as he didn’t want to because he knew Robin would want to talk about what happened and he just wanted to sleep.
He unlocked the door and slowly pushed it open, partially because he didn’t want to alert Robin that he was there but also because he was just so numb in the moment that he couldn’t bother to move quickly.
Robin, being the good friend that she was, was already sitting on the couch with two hot cups of coco for her and tea for him. Steve dropped his bag on the floor and fell down onto the couch, laying his head in robins lap, her hands immediately went to play with his hair to comfort him.
“Wanna talk about what happened?” Robin says, softly
Steve shrugged. Not sure if talking about it would make him feel better or worse.
“Well, just talk to me when you’re ready okay?” Robin says, looking down at him.
After a few minutes of silence and Steve trying to gather his thoughts he spoke.
“He told me he regretted it” he whispers
“Oh? And what did you say?” Robin asks
“I didn’t reply to it. He left before I could. He kept calling me ‘Stevie’ throughout the shoot. Gave me his number too”
Robin mumbles something under her breath, probably along the lines of “fucker” or “asshole”
He takes a deep breath and begins the long rant of what happened. What he had said, how he feels bad about snapping at him, That he still loves him, everything.
“Do you know what you’re gonna do?” Robin questions
“I really, really wanna text him” he sighs. “I don’t know if I should though. Part of me wants to pretend like this never happened, but another wants me to text him now and to tell him how I’m feeling”
Robin sits for a moment before speaking “it’s ultimately up to you, but… I would text him. Just say something about how it’ll take a while for you to trust him and how you want to go about getting closer to him again”
Steve nods, trying to think of what he’ll say. He’s too tired to think as of now so he says goodnight and walks upstairs to bed.
It takes a bit for him to fall asleep, but eventually he does.
The next morning, he’s decided to text Eddie, he nervously types his message, his hands shaking while doing so.
“S” ‘hey, it’s Steve, I appreciate your honesty last night, and I’m sorry that I snapped. You have to understand how I’m feeling at the moment though.
I am willing to start hanging out again and maybe, maybe, we can talk about getting back where we were. But it will take me some time to trust you again. If you can’t understand that then there’s no use texting me back.”
He was worried he was a little harsh but he said what he needed to. He places his phone on his bed and begins to get dressed. A part of him wanted to look nice, and of course that part was able to win him over. So, he put on his nice jeans and a fun button up. Styling his hair and makings sure he didn’t need to shave.
As he leaves, Robin gives him a weird look, but decides to stay out of it. If Steve wants to talk about it he will.
The moment comes where Steve is pulling into the parking lot, seeing Eddie’s van that somehow is still kicking. He doesn’t know if Eddie has texted him back yet. He’s too scared to look.
As he gets out of the car, he makes eye contact with Eddie. Awkward as it is, he waves and gives a small smile. Being bitter about everything is just going to make the shoot worse, it’s better to just be nice.
He unlocks the building and lets everyone in, however, he sees Eddie stopped outside the door.
“Can we talk?” He asks
Steve, who is beginning to feel nervous, nods softly and shuts the door to the studio.
“I saw your text” Eddie whispers “thank you so much for giving me another chance, and I completely understand that it’ll take you a bit to trust me again. We will make plans on your terms. I don’t get a say” he says, putting his hands up
Steve smiles a bit and nods “ah-thank you Eddie. I…I’m glad we get to talk again” he says, his face turning a slight pink.
Eddie smiles wide “okay! I’m glad we get to talk again too.”
Steve nods again and opens the door to let Eddie in. Eddie does a curtsy which makes Steve laugh, and walks inside with Steve following suit.
Hopefully this shoot goes better than the last one. Steve thinks it will.

Okay! So we’ve gotten to a third part, I’m enjoying writing this, I like how the story is going.
If you have any constructive criticism or feedback I would love to hear it as I’m trying to get better.
Lots of things could’ve happened today. Steve’s car could’ve broken down, a small earthquake could’ve hit, someone could’ve mugged him. But none of them, NONE of them, could’ve hit as hard as this.
“Hi Stevie” the man says, almost a whisper, a sheepish little wave thrown across the room.
Steve is stopped dead in his tracks, looking at the man he once knew and loved. The man he used to call every night to tell him about a crazy customer. Standing in front of him.
“Eddie…” he whispers, his voice barely carrying through the room.
His mind goes back to the last summer before he left. The conversation they had.
“Promise we’ll never grow apart” Eddie had said. And of course Steve promised, he’d promise anything to Eddie if it meant he would stay.
“Of course” Steve sighs, holding out his pinkie for Eddie to take. And as they link their pinkies together, Steve knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with this boy.
“Been a while hasn’t it” Eddie says, walking up to Steve with a smile, arms open wide, ready to hug.
Steve steps back, small tears beginning to well in his eyes. He looks Eddie up and down, as he can’t believe he’s actually here.
“I…I need a moment” Steve says, before rushing off to the staff room.
He slams the door, the walls shaking with the loud thud that probably was heard from outside the studio. A loud sob finally escapes his throat, and big tears flow down his face.
He scrambles for his phone, desperately wiping tears from his cheeks. Pressing robins contact, he moves to the couch and places his forehead on his knees, his shoulders shaking with sadness.
Robin picks up “hey I can’t talk long I- are you crying?”
“Robbie…” Steve sobs, “it’s…it’s him…it’s Eddie”
“What? What about Eddie? Steve what’s going on?” Robin says concerned
“He *hic* he’s part of the band I’m filming. He’s the lead. Bobbie I can’t do this” Steve says between his shaky breaths
“Oh god…Steve listen to me. You can do this. You can’t let him get to you again. So sit up! Take a deep breath, blow your nose, wipe your tears, and stand tall! Don’t let that asshole let you down again. Face him and get through this shoot. Then when you come home I’ll make you dinner and we can drink together okay?” Robin states. She always knew what to say, even if it sounded mean it was all in good faith.
“…okay” steve says reluctantly. They say their goodbyes and he hangs up. Taking a few deep breaths before following her instructions. He looks at himself in the mirror hanging off the wall. Nods to his reflection and walks out the door, and to his dissatisfaction, Eddie is there.
“Let’s start. You have your props?” Steve says sternly.
“Yes but-“ Eddie starts
“Good” Steve interrupts, walking past a worried looking Eddie.
Despite his effort, Eddie can’t get Steve to talk to him about something that isn’t related to filming. So eventually, he gives up.
Everyone starts to set up, the green screen behind the band and their instruments being put together. Steve lets them play a test round to get the audio settings all in order.
The bigger man, whos name is Garrett or so they all call him, stomps on the hi-hat pedal, settles the noise, and adjusts the cymbals to his liking.
After about twenty minutes or so, they start filming. Steve, who can’t seem to take his eyes off Eddie, moves the camera as they asked him to. Up, down, side to side, round and round and all that.
They finish filming the first scene for the day, and Steve lets out a sigh of relief. But he knows he has to be right back here tomorrow to film more of the video.
“Okay that’s it, I’ll see you all tomorrow.” Steve says quickly, wanting to get out of there as soon as possible. He wheels the camera back to the staff room, followed by Eddie, who is determined to have the one conversation Steve doesn’t want.
“Steve, please, talk to me” Eddie pleads softly
Steve angrily snaps around to face Eddie. “Oh you wanna talk? Okay let’s talk. Let’s talk about how you told me that we wouldn’t grow apart, let’s talk about how I had to wake up to a note from you telling me you were leaving. Let’s talk about how I sat in Robbie’s arms sobbing thinking it was MY fault you left. Let’s talk about that.” Steve shouts. Not caring if anyone else is hearing him.
Eddie sits there wide eyed, before taking a deep breath and speaking “look, I get you’re pissed at me. And rightfully so! I had no right leaving like that. And I regret the moment I stepped out that door every day. I am so unbelievably sorry Stevie”
“Don’t. Don’t call me that. You lost that privilege. We promised forever, and you broke that promise. And that hurt more than when I was being strangled by the vines” Steve whispers
Eddie looks down at his feet. “Okay Steve.” He says, pulling out a piece of paper “this is my number. Please, please text me” he says timidly and begins to walk out the door “oh and by the way… I never stopped loving you. Even after I left.” And with that, he shuts the door to the staff room.
Steve falls to the floor. Quiet sobs escaping his lips. He wants to forgive Eddie. He really does, but he’s too hurt right now.
That’s the man he loves, and has loved for years. And though he’s hurting, he won’t let him get away again.

Okay because I felt motivated here’s the second part. I might turn this into a series but I’m not sure

Hawkins was never warm and sunny. Warm? Sometimes. Sunny? Barely. Both at the same time? Something is going on.
But despite everything, today was a really warm, very sunny day.
Steve woke up to a sweaty body and a very hot room. The whole reason he stayed in Hawkins was to avoid the scorching hot weather in other places.
He lets out a tired groan and throws the blankets off him, immediately going to open his window. The fresh cool breeze hitting his face as soon as the sliding glass window moves away from the wall. A sigh of relief can be heard from him as he lets himself relax in the winds path.
Groggily, he takes a step back, removing his sweat stained t-shirt and throwing it into the hamper. He makes a mental note to do laundry today as it’s getting full. Stepping into the bathroom, he takes a look at himself in the mirror, moving his hand up to scratch the stubble on his face that’s beginning to grow back.
He continues to strip his sweaty clothes off and steps into the shower, letting the water rinse the sleepiness off his body. As he’s showering he hears robins alarm go off, signaling that it’s time for her to start her workday.
Robin works from home, something with telemarketing maybe. Steve had some trouble listening to her ramble about her new job.
He steps out and shakes his head to get any excess water off of his face and hair. Like a dog after climbing out of the pool. He brushes his teeth, gets dressed, and heads downstairs for breakfast. Something easy, like eggs or cereal.
He’s got a big shift today. Working with some newfound celebrity that needs to film a music video. He always hated working with new stars. They were either too shy to tell him what they want or too cocky for him to understand what he needs to do. No inbetween.
His shift doesnt even start till one. But still, he wants to get ready and be prepared for the worst.
By the time one’o’clock rolls around, Steve is still dreading his shift. But no matter how he feels, he needs to start, it’s how he makes money to feed him and the gremlins.
He enters the camera room and sees a few people. A bigger curly haired man with a shirt saying “lamb of god” another curly haired guy wearing a flannel and a shirt that says “descendants” and a girl with bright purple hair tied into a ponytail and wearing a long black layered dress.
He starts off by introducing himself “hey guys my name is Steve I’ll be your photographer today. Are there any more people coming?” He says with a little wave
The three strangers turn to him and the two guys give each other a look. Something Steve can’t recognize. He lingers on it until the girl speaks up.
“Yeah we’re missing two people, they’re on their way but they said traffic is slow” she says, grabbing a blue electric bass out of a guitar case.
“Cool, okay. There’s snacks and drinks up for grabs in the fridge over there, help yourself. I’ll be right back.” Steve tells the three, (that he’s nicknamed the trio just to make things easier for himself)
He walks to the back and plops himself down on the couch, pulling out his phone and beginning to write a text to Robin.
“Steve-o” ‘These people remind me of that dnd group the kids were in while in highschool. It’s weird’
“Birdie” ‘how so? Like looks?’
“Steve-o” ‘yeah’
Steve closes his phone when he hears other people enter the room, walking down the hall, he hears a familiar voice, something in him sparks when the voice speaks. Like it’s something he’s been missing.
He enters the room and begins to introduce himself once more “hi, I’m Steve, I’ll…be…your…” he trails, seeing the voice he apparently missed so much
The tall, curly haired, tattooed man turns around “hey Stevie”

Okay what do we think of this? Do you want another part or do you want to just make an idea of what happens next. Even so, I might make a second part if I’m still motivated to write.
